loving to see you do this daily series can't get enough of your gameplay and your personality really shines in your deck building and it is really amazing to see.
7:43 Budget is actually one of the reasons why I bought Dredge. In my LGS it is fine to proxy cards on the reserved list, so Dredge cost me like 150€. It was actually cheaper than one of my Pauper decks.
Amazing content as always!! I've really enjoyed this series. Definitely an underplayed deck for the results it can achieve. Thank you for your work, and we can see how you are a teacher because of the educational way of giving the info always 😂😊.
Man, that R2G2 had so much card velocity it was insane. Just looting, looting, breakthrough, looting, study, on and on. It was insane how far you got without dredging, but also how many cards you were able to dig to try and find one
26:30 Stifling the Marit Lage trigger sadly does not work as we would like. The trigger is countered successfully, but then Dark Depths notices it still has no ice counters, and simply triggers again :(
Thoughts on cards that could be either fun to test, or interesting/useful. Visions of beyond: slow, potentially just win more and bad, but you cant argue with draw 3 on a card. Jack o lantern: mana fixing from the graveyard, allowing you to potentially cast cabal therapy from hand without the right mana. Likewise with faithless looting. Mind scour: another cantrip, but mills. Both this and visions of beyond are just interesting spec from the point of a slower grave filling deck or something. Chrome mox: more mana for more turbo type stuff. If you wanted to fire even harder into the fast dredge Skerry and the other 2 mana lands: slower dredge, but gets lands into GY for threshold, and allows more hard casts in scenarios when needed. Shelldock isle: a land youre likely to be able to use, and could be nice for either a juke plan wise, or a way to cast thassa or other value cards without relying on your GY Are any of these good ideas? Probably not tbh, as i dont play much mtg, but i figure the thoughts of a knowledgeable but new player like myself might at the very least be interesting, and maybe get some brain juices flowing. Sometimes an ourside simple perspective gets you to think, yaknow. Love the vid, and love dredge
noob question, you mentioned that Street Wraith is a way of protecting against Faerie Macabre; how does that work? I'm not sure how those cards interact.
When your opponent discards Faerie Macabre to exile your dredgers, you cycle Street Wraith in response and replace the draw with dredging one of the dredgers they were targeting.
This. You exchange your draw to dredge your creature back to your hand. Smart opponents will wait to target your threats with Faerie instead, so I'm not sold on Street Wraith yet.
From my limited testing I felt that 2 bridges were too little to enable Anger's plan of hasty zombies, have you ever felt the same? If so what would you cut for a 3rd copy?
I think it's a tough decision between the 3rd Poxwalkers and the 3rd Bridge. You could even have an extra Bridge in the sideboard for matchups where the Turbo approach is more crucial than the Satoru combo.
My local metagame has a lot of Leyline of the Void (it's easy, and it does a lot of damage), so I will definitely be including the fifth bounce spell. Right now my two extra sideboard slots are Force of Wills but the tension with LED is real.
i don't really understand judging a deck by it's performance in league. last tournaments i played were heavy in green decks with main grave have (which as we saw is a nightmare) and UB playing at least 2 spellbombs main with a trend of having 3-4 grave hate cards in main. this is just a not winnable meta. you don't see this in mtgo leagues ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This was the final video in a series of five, showing how to build a consistent Dredge deck despite heavy graveyard hate in the current metagame. You can watch them all here. MTGO is packed with graveyard hate, too! If this was always an obstacle, UB Reanimator wouldn't be Tier 0 in this meta.
Yes, but you can't hold Wraith to counter a Faerie Macabre activation when you discard your hand with LED. When you don't have LED and the opp has Faerie, you can rebuild your graveyard more easily.

Thanks! Building and playing with my own decks is super fun and I’m glad it shows in my videos.
Loved watching this series. Very professional and entertaining. Thank you!
Thanks! Today, I'll start a series of Modern vídeos.
Thank you so much for the series. And even more thank you for the “surprise” games at the end!!
Thanks! it was a good opportunity to try other cards in the flex spots.
Great video as always, loved the breakdown ate the end. Congrats on the new build and on your results.
I don't usually sub on the first video I watch, but damn this is gonna have to be an exception. Great video!
Thanks! Welcome to the zombie army!
same here

Excellent analysis at the end! I need to adopt a similar process for my own growth and tuning!
I don’t play dredge but you sure make it look fun!
Glad it was helpful!

You're absolutely right. Our best use of that card would be to counter Bojuka Bog or Endurance's trigger. I'm not convinced, though.

great video!
This makes me want to play dredge again. Thank goodness proxies are widely accepted these days.
Great Video. G1 would Dread Return the Troll maybe produced lethal? (3 Extra Zombies + the Big troll could have been lethal?)
Thanks! If we had Dread Return in that situation, we could have attacked with an 11/11 Troll and 4 zombies, dealing 19 damage on turn 1.

are there any vintage dredge videos?
Not yet, but I'll dive into Vintage soon.
@@MahfuzVanGogh good shit :)
Why not leyline against painter
Leyline usually just buys you a turn, and then they destroy it with Painter + Pyroblast.
XandaoMTG 100% brazilian, in fact one of our supreme court judges has this nickname Xandão too hehe
Sim, ahaha 😂
i caraio, n sabia q o Vicente é brasileiro tbm? kkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Against metas heavily dependent on Leylines, you probably want 2 copies of Kiora's Dismissal. 🎉

51:14 yes you can
You can even play looting, hold prio cycle streetW and crack led
