3 words I quite like "simple, lamb, kebab" That bread bowl trick is brilliant. That's the type of thing that would make someone so happy, that emotions would happen, it's going on the "to do" list. Have a wonderful Easter Olivers.
This is what I like about Jamie. Although he's a chef, most of the stuff he makes is accessible to most people. I've made a bunch of his recipes, and they've all turned out great! He also helped me gain the confidence to start my own cooking channel. I've been trying to put into practice some of the advice he gave on one of his videos about presenting, and I've learnt a bunch so far. Thanks for sharing this, I'll be saving it for when it gets a tad warmer so I can try it out on my fire pit. ☺🐑

Adams Eats mate saw your comment thought I'd check your channel out and I'm impressed with your vids as a uni student I'm sure they'll come in handy ...I subbed
Jamie is always right and efficient. I love the part about the pestle and mortar "it's what flavour is all about". It's amazingly accurate, some herbs, some garlic, a mortar and simple tricks and you can absolutely sublimate a lot of recipes in 2 minutes, from fish to pasta, meat, everything. Cheap and quick.
Like the idea of the rosemary skewers, but if this is Ment to be Greek here's a good tip. Leave the Bay leaf and rosemary leaves out as the oregano is more than enough herbs plus just the rosemary skewers are enough as to much rosemary can be very overwhelming as a flavour. In fact lemon juice is one thing I would add to this dish as basted over it will work wonders for lamb
I remember this from the live stream! I have been a fan since Oliver's Twist, and I'm so grateful that you're still at it with the same message for the next generation. Other chefs showed me techniques, but you taught me how to love food and trust my intuition. Thank you for that. You and your team are amazing! Keep sharing the love.
Three years ago, I was cooking boxed dinners like Hamburger Helper and Kraft Mac&Cheese or spending a fortune on take out. Then I decided I owed my family and my kids more. I set out on my journey to learn to cook. You were one of the first people I came across and your easy to understand and humble approach only spurred me on further. Today, I've self taught to a level where I would consider myself confident to the point where I can freely play around in the kitchen with substitutions or whipping up my own recipes...and I attribute a majority of it to you and your mission of teaching people how to cook and promoting a culture of discovering self-reliance in the kitchen. Thank you!
I love the fact Jamie grows quite a lot of the food he uses in his recipes. I only have a small garden but I grow a few herbs, shallots and broad beans. Nothing tastier than stuff straight out of the garden.
It´s nice to see a chef REALLY enjoying his work, his ideas and passion, and make something so delicious, so vivid and tasty looking, but yet simple dish. My hat's off to you Jamie, for encouraging me to cook several and easy dishes on a regular basis since the first day, i´ve seen your tv cooking channel. Your YT channel just keeps me happy and full of new ideas!
it's 6:25 in the morning and I'm watching this delicious lamb kebab recipe, now I'm regretting it, I'm super hungry. great video and many nice tips. happy easter Oliver family.
thanks again brother. .....very nice.....this coming from a Greek. .......an old traditional marinade passed down to me from Grandma.......use this on lamb or beef.......salt and pepper to taste......origano.....olive oil.....a cup of red wine. .....something like lambrusco.......and to finish. ......grate a whole tomato in the mix......mix it all up.....marinate over night.....happy days.
En mi país dejamos el palito puesto en la carne, y le decimos "anticuchos" !!! Se ve maravilloso, muy creativo hacer la masita en el cuenco! Probaremos en el próximo asado. Cariños desde Chile ☆
Natalie Keatley I'm actually not eating it, I'm vegan but I'm making it for my family :) I love cooking and they don't want to eat vegan and I still want to make them happy 😊
Natalie Keatley also, I've found that talking like that to people won't persuade them to eat any differently! Some people never will change their minds and that's ok, that's their prerogative! But some can be persuaded if you are nice about it and say facts rather than call them "fucked up" etc... I understand your feelings because I am vegan for animal welfare purposes, but you need to respect humans as well as animals too ☺️
This türkish food was really good 24kitchen channel which is first ı saw your awesome foods and ı want to say ı am türkish.Since 2 years you are my idol. After ı watched your season ı’m trying to make your foods.I hope one day ı come to England and meet you that is my dream
such a great idea with the bread! I'm going to guess that it's inspired by Jamie's trip to Morocco, that's my fav episode when he went to see how the community oven works
Enjoyed the video. Are you doing this solo with a mounted camera or using a crew? Appreciate all your work. Would love video of the bread making instead of just the information blog type post.
I am making a veg soup every night to lose weight and strengthen my immune system. I have been throwing in a thin slice of lemon and it is surprisingly awesome. can you do a veggie soup vid elaborating on the citris fruit possibilities? THANX!
hey jamie, big fan of your channel, it would be great if you would use the cuts of meat that most people through away, i am talking about ''offals''. they taste amazing but not everyone tries it just because of it doesn't sounds good to them. i hope to see a recipes of lamb hearts , spleen, lungs and liver so that more people can enjoy it.

DREAM TEAM.
the use of rosemary as skewer and that bowl for making flat bread was very clever and useful in summer bbq. great
So simple but so good!
My local park doesn't have rosemary bushes & neither do any of the supermarkets in England!
No that bread bowl is really clever. It really presents the kebab so well and it's got the textures. Must try this in the summer.
They bring our inedible dishes and make it edible period
As a Greek I give to this 9/10. However the pita bowl is an awesome idea!
