Montreal cancelled their Canada Day parade citing lack of funding while taxpayer dollars are allocated to Pride. Quite frankly, the celebration of the country where you freely hold your celebrations should be a higher priority for public tax dollars.
This parade is an insult to the homosexual men who began 'pride' 43 years ago. They celebrated the achievements of homosexuals who have contributed to our culture..such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Somerset Maugham, Oscar Wilde for examples.
