I know, right?! In about two months I’ve bought three SpeedGoats, a Marshall Field Craft, and two Flat Tails! That’s close to two grand!

Even though I had been completely unaware of this model, and found out about its existence only when the drop had been on for several hours, I was still lucky enough to get two black-handled ones at about 1 a.m.! (None of the color options were yet out of stock, which I found astounding.)
The knife arrived very quickly, several days earlier than the USPS prediction.
I instantly fell in love with it. It’s now my favorite personally owned knife-and that means it beats some seriously good knives including a Benchmade 51 Morpho, a Spyderco Manix 2 S110V, and a Microtech X-Wing OTF auto special edition!
This knife is going to be a constant companion. And I bought two, just in case anything happens to the first one. 😁

Looks a little like the mini speedgoat with handle scales nice knife

The SpeedGoat’s blade is noticeably thinner and it even flexes. The Flat Tail’s blade is thicker and tapers toward the tip, but the blade does not flex. It’s why I like my Flat Tail more than my SpeedGoat.

I know this, if I was ever gifted one of these or the stub horn, I would use it forever and teach the importance of passing down these knives. Closest thing to an outdoor knife I own is a leatherman with scapel attachment :(
