Vio-lence is one of my top 3 thrash bands, back in the day - esp in my country - they were almost unknown, however I was lucky enough to discover them in an early stage of my relationship with the genre. Hope the're all good and strong and also to see them for first time in Greece in the near future. Peace and Solidarity to the World...("In a..")

90s metal was great for it's diversity. 80s metal was pretty meat and potatoes, but the 90s was a more vibrant time for heavy music. I loved Machinehead, Fear Factory, Biohazard, Cathedral, Sick of it All, Rollins Band, Slayer, Obituary, Carcass, Entombed, Sepultura, Godflesh, Malhavoc, White Zombie, Pro-Pain, and I loved 90s Motorhead albums.

Catharsis was so bad it was embarrassing. That album had me wondering if I ever wanted to listen to Machine Head again. The new stuff I'm hearing from them is much better, so maybe. The Blackening will always be a masterpiece.
