I really enjoy to see this video again and again because i did that before i buy one.... i have it in my garage now and i truly love it. I'm keeping trying to get used to it.... it's very addictive this bike. Maybe a lot would be in doubt like i was, but trust me... is a great great and addictive motorcycle =)
Glad you enjoyed the vid! I can only agree, it’s a very addictive bike to ride and you don’t want to stop once you start riding it lol 🤙 I will upload more this spring/summer. Any suggestions?
@@s.aracing5431 yeah! i really want to understand better the track mode with the slip 1 to 9 on how they affect the behavior of the real wheel. Do you know how to explain that part? Another thing is... this bike can't have the update to do wheelies in a maximum angle (that you can setup) like i read even the new 390 have (and of course the 990)?
@@marceloalmada1404 this is just speculations from my part but usually bikes have a value for anti wheelie control. If you have a race bike with a kit-box you can set this value to whatever you like. This means you can set how much you want the bike to wheelie before it tries to pick it back down. However, I don’t know if the KTM have a value that is able to be set differently within the original box. The slip is a bit tricky, I have tried to force the bike to work with this system but it cuts the power so early that I can’t say anything about it really. I’ve had the bike come loose really hard at lean angle but it steers the bike well and I have nothing to complain about it. It works good for what I know and when I had this little moment the slip was set to “5”. Hope this helps a little atleast😅
@@s.aracing5431 hi bro! thanks for your reply and this explanation about the slip and the wheelie setup! I'm searching for the best crash bar for this bike... any suggestion?
@@marceloalmada1404 would like to help but really have no idea about cages for bikes, heard that a company in the US make some good cages for the kawa 636 but that’s pretty much it lol 😂
How much kilos do you have? I have sport suspension settings and in corners and on braking, the bike still flees as soft... Maybe i am too heavy with 88-90kg for the 890r?
@@ivanstevanovic5372 I’m about 80 but your weight should not be a problem at all, make sure to set the bike to “sport” through the manual and go from there, if you still think it’s too soft there might be a need to upgrade to harder springs OR get another suspension 👍
No issues at all really. First major service done by dealer and the rest I’m just doing myself. It runs with shorty pipe and decat without remap, it runs a little rich but still no issue. Have been riding with this for a while now and everything works just as good as when it was brand new 👍 seems like the bike can take a beating and are not that fragile. I’m very pleased with it 👍
@s.aracing5431 thank you for your reply. I intend to do the same. First free serive at the dealer. And then I'll take it from there. In my country the warranty is not worth the paper it's printed on anyway.
My friend have an MT09 and this is my opinion about it. The torque and power is higher in the KTM and the chassis is way more agile than the MT09, if you’re looking for a smooth bike with good comfort then the MT09 would be my choice. If you want a more aggressive and agile bike with less comfort I would go for the 890R. Hope this helps!
@@serhat1371 then you should try an 890R, the power is “good”, could ask for a bit more top power but else it’s pretty decent. The chassis makes it good, very accurate! Brakes are insane too

Also the mt-09 doesn't have Brembos and doesn't have steel lines like the Duke
what's the price of your bike
Roughly when bought was about 13.200$ for bike with tech pack and all 👍
