Thank you so much new teen home owner came home for a shower after work to freezing cold water checked the boiler and saw a flashing F and my heart sank though I have to wait till I had a day of to get it sorted but that's to you lest than 10 minutes later I'm back in the shower absolute legend
Thank you so much for putting this video up, Dave! Your instructions were really clear and easy to follow. The pressure is back and the F1 code is gone. Here's to hot showers!
Thank you Dave, you’ve saved me from an embarrassing phone call to the father in law. Everything was very easy to follow and my boiler works fine now. Cheers.
Honestly this helped me loads I woke up to a freezing house thinking I was going to have to wait all day on engineer but took me 2 mins to fill the pressure and bingo Iv got heating so thanks for the help
Thank You, very helpful. We arrived at an Airbnb at 2am after being stuck in traffic for 5 hours and boiler wasn’t working and house freezing. Rather than contacting owners and waking them, I found this video and it worked a treat! What happens if pressure is goes slightly over 2!!? Thank You!
Thanks so much! it was a different set up (flexible silver pipe between 2 black valves). But it gave me the confidence to check the manual and do it myself. Thanks!
Thanks mate. Just bought a brand new house the the builder was zero help. Advised me to look on UA-cam! Should this sort of thing happen with a new boiler?
I have open the filler taps that is located upstairs away from the actual boiler, they are located in the same area where there is a massive tank installed. I’ve turn the boiler off and opened the taps to top the boiler up but as soon as I close the taps the pressure drops down to zero immediately- when I turn on the boiler by the mains the pressure is still zero and the F1 code is still displayed on the small screen. What can I do to get my boiler running again?
We have got 3taps under the boiler on the left side is a black tap and in the middle is a yellow tap and on the left side is either black or it black colour tap. Could u plz help me so i can fix the boiler cuz the f1 sign is showing on the boiler plz? Any help would be much apprieated plz
I ve done this, and for some time is working and the pressure is going down again and again an again.. I ve check the radiators. So no leaks. Can you suggest what can be?

Hi I don't know if you still look at comments. Our boiler is F1 but we don't have the blue ones. Just 2 black and 1 yellow.
You might have a silver flexible pipe under the boiler somewhere with black taps on it!
