I’ve seen miss wiring plenty of times on some of these boards. I usually draw a one line diagram so everything is in front of you. Thanks Paul and Happy Father’s Day.

Thanks Anthony. Happy Fathers Day for to you too. I appreciate. Be safe this week. Best luck. Let me know all is good after you get back from vacation Weds. Be safe brother.

Thanks Mark. Plus the guy was droning alongside me half the time. I had him running up and down to thermostats just so I can focus.

I’ve had plenty of new installs with miswired zone valves. Apparently zone valve wiring on an oil burner system is hard 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷

Exactly. It is just the nature of the trades. It’s fixed. The guy is happy. Thanks brother.

Call me stupid , I guess I missed what exactly was wrong with the wiring.

Definitely not stupid. The zone damper was powered to constant open even with a call for cooling only at other zone because open and wires in same terminal and top of zone panel. That was actual issue but so much more with thermostat wired as a furnace but would still have cooled only in stage one so I moved the w wire to y2 second stage cooling and then had to program thermostat to two stage cooling and change zone panel logic from conventional furnace to AC only. This system was only AC. Never stupid we all learn from each other.
