I’m new to the whole ficm tune stuff, so I’m assuming your studded and all that since your running a non-vgt. Why would you pick the atlas40 over the 80 or even Hercules if your going for power? Is there a specific reason to go with 40? Sorry if it’s a dumb question I just don’t know.
Atlas 40 is best for pretty much everything. The hotter tunes above that are really only for running without PCM/tcm tuning. You can do more with real tunes.
Anything over the 40 with tunes is really over kill and not needed. Back when I ran different setups was all really experimental and definitely found that the 40 was the most youd need with tunes. Even then its not a must have. Good tunes go a long way.
my old vgt setup was 741. I don't have a dyno run for the s369. I wanted to the 9th I would have. but the damn turbo went out on me for some reason. I loved it but its gone. so I have a s471 coming in this week to replace it cause they couldn't get me another 69 in time. 😞
Bad Ass 6.0 Powerstroke yes kc 68. With nitrous I woulda have made higher numbers but my truck had a dyno fire when I was running the non vgt. But it was due to a hpods system I made and a line blew out on the turbo when I was doing the pull.
Adrian i am in the process of putting together a borg warner s366sxe with ported cover, 250/150 rcd conventionals, along with thumper2, fuelab fuel kit, and all supporting mods. Whats your thoughts on this setup in a 05 2 door? I emphasized to rcd that i didnt want a hot smokey mess to pair with that turbo, and those are injectors they reccomended. Says should be around 700 mark
Jamie Winfield Sounds like a pretty solid setup. As long as you can support the high oil psi up your pulse width shouldn’t make it to Smokey. The 66 should spool great with the combo. 700 all day.

Hey with the 369, we're you able to tow and how much of you were? I'm looking into the same turbo with 205/30s and have to tow a 6400lb boat in the summer time.
CrazyRed188 on this 6.0 setup I had. No I wouldn’t tow with the 369. But you could tow with a 366 way better. The 69 gets get pretty high on a 6.0 just driving. But I ran 205/50 Holder’s injectors
Kasey Graham more fuel requires more oil. So just keep in mind that the key to having a well runnings 6.0 is keeping your oil psi high to keep the intensifier working. The more fuel you you push without oil psi. Will make it super smoky and laggy. 250/150 is huge in conventional 6.0 injector. Finding the perfect combination between the 2 is key. Hit up kc turbo or Keeter for new products to help with this.

wore differences and switches. one inside peice and to be removed and another cut off. and bolts down a little different but you can use self taps.

You got to add a bottom hole for one screw. You need the 08 controls
