Here's something funny/sad, the Helldivers are inspired by the Federation from the movie versions of Starship Troopers, but they're a LOT smarter than the goons running the armed forces in that movie. If nothing else, the people flying the ships for the Helldivers actually know they can put some freaking DISTANCE between the ships and not be practically grinding up against each other, ensuring that one ship blowing up doesn't cause a domino effect.
Finally someone did this because hell's diary remind me of starship trooper and I'm a huge fan of starship troopers and the book The book was the best but it was still not better than the movie
