The FT Versa Wing is a flying wing built from Dollar Tree foam board, which is designed to be built quickly and cheaply. You can order a laser-cut kit from the Flite Test store for about $30, or laser cut your own using the Lasersaur at the space for about $5 in materials and laser time.

@@mickelson8332 Hi Mick, This model was designed by the FliteTest team. They design Foamboard models and publish the plans for free. You can either buy the kit or download the plans and cut by yourself. For each DIY model in their store, they also include a build video which also includes the plans.

like your shop. I am a Mill wright and really like your shop. You must be metal workers. Have been a welding instructor and have been certified in Stick and MIG and TIG welding for Aluminum, Titanium, Stainless and Iron and piping. I have built parts for the Voyager space craft and the SR 71 and out fighter Jets. I work with sheetmetal tools and run Lathes and milling machines. Now at 71 years old I still work designing and building equipment for food progressing. I have run miles of stainless tubing for the Gallo winery here in California. I tried to retire in 2013 and when I did my phone started ringing and people wanted me to work for them. I have very high skills welding and machining and sheetmetal forming. So when you have good skills you have no problem getting work. Also I want you to know I really enjoy you guys videos. I know if we live near each other we would be very good friends.

Flite Test foam board airplanes got me back into the hobby after a long break! Their laser cut speed build kits are inexpensive, and fun to assemble. I have 12 of them! Fly them all! Try their Guinea Pig and the brand new master-class Spitfire!

The thing about the "Wings" is they somehow come into your life between your scale sports and always have pleasant memories.
We fly them with lights in the night. Size is perfect just throw in the car boot and fly when u can.

My little brother and I used to fly airplanes when we were younger. Make our own airplanes and then go out and have spectacular crashes. Back in the 1970s. Little ringmaster flat wings. O49 engines.
Scratch Built one of these when it first came out. Incredible flyer , my favorite wing either powered or a slope soarer! A very easy build and inexpensive 👍😁
Ft has Chuck gliders your kids can build with ease.lots of fun.they seem to enjoy being there with you guys.

FT Versa wing was my first wing. I had a large one and then made some at 70% scale and loved them all. The FT Spear is also a great beginner wing.
I have built several FliteTest airplane's and they all fly great ! Oh Yeah ! Cheer's and Salute !

Ironic but I think one of the main Alex Zavada, one of the main FliteTest people was in your area about the time you posted this. I text messages him and asked if he had stopped in Slovainia. He replied a day later they had driven through.

Having flown the eflite sukhoi 29mm.... I ordered the hanger 9 twist 40 and saito .80 fs. I am so addicted to the planes now its not even funny. 20 years i was off of em and then a little taste of the sport cub and now i own 15 planes and have some i havent even opened yet.... Best addiction ever

Blaž Petrinčič ... At my elementary school times - I build prototype - I've had only glider's folding prop - it doesn't work either :) ... maybe buy prop put electronics in it & That's it :)

When I fly my wing I get it pretty high going vertical then push both sticks together and up so that the right stick is in the upper left corner and the left stick is in the upper right corner. When the plane starts spinning downward I start taking the right slowly toward the other corner and that is how I get it into an inverted flat spin. Give it a try and enjoy.

such a good flying wing once you get the CG correct... also really takes a beating... built mine as my 2nd or 3rd plane... first wing... I've built a blunt nose as a night flyer... the standard one is lots of fun and has a great glide slope
