It was great to visit here in Oct. 2023. This is one place ticked off my Mecca Bucket list 😊 Thank you for sharing the behind the scenes as the general public are only allowed in the foyer.
As a Star Wars fan, film lover, writer, and concept artist, that saw the original trilogy during it's theatrical run. It's too bad all the Disney/k.k. propaganda items have tarnish the history and legacy of Lucasfilm, while dividing the fan base.
Thanks for sharing this video. It's nice Lucasfilm let you film the area. Hopefully someday I'll be able to visit LF. Been to the ranch -- beautiful architecture and interior design. The whole environment is really inspiring. Keep up the good work! 👍
I got a tour for being on The Star Wars Show back in 2017 and am surprised how little has seemingly changed. Perhaps a poster or prop here or there, but almost nothing otherwise. We didn't get to go in the theater as they were running Monday dailies and we missed the ball pit/toy room. The props and history were nice, but otherwise the tour is not much else than endless hallways. The store and cafeteria are perhaps the best unrestricted areas we were allowed to see. And of course, the Presidio is a nice place to stroll around.
I've been in that building when it was a military hospital. My mother had two hip replacements and knee replacements done there.
I could watch this all day just wish it was longer. I miss the old magic of ILM and the real Lucasfilm.

There is an outstanding documentary about ILM on Disney +. Remarkable story ILM is.
After what Kennedy has done to Lucas films it has definitely lost its shine. The new indy film and willow are terrible.
