How wide is the cabin in the Avid Flyer Mk4? Old Avid Aircraft of Montana info says 44" but that seems wide for that model. If that is correct that is pretty accomadating. Would. 2 200# ers fit in these?😁 I had Model C Heavey Hauler back in the day.

Hello , yes it's an NRProp SR45-162, 3 blades , the engine is a Jabiru 2200a , this prop is working quite good with this engine. Thank you for the compliment .
Hello, my name is Florin and i am from Romania. I bought an Avid MK4 extended speedwing with 912 ULS. My instructor tell me that the plane is not turning properly at low speed because the flapperon is not as long as the wing. How are your plane controls at low speed? Also he tell that the the plane is digging at landing and he can't glide with it. He is instructor since 2000 and flew a lot of planes.
Hello Florin , At low speed and high RPM with my Jabiru 2200 ( turning opposite of the Rotax) you need much rudder to the right to exit a left turn , at lower RPM or right turn it's ok . I changed aileron command geometry to have more differential , it improve a little bit Roll authorities . first verify that your ailerons are going up more than down . your COG is also perhaps to much forward with the 912 . Perhaps it will be better with long ailerons but you will also input more adverse yaw . Best regards , Phil
@philippehgt1791 thank you for your answer. We added some small sheet metal plates to extend the flapperon but not to the wing tip, just like an compensator but he told that the effect is not expected. Maybe this is the plane...

Hello 44’’ is for the Avid Magnum , Avid flyer is 39,5’’ wide .
