Helen Keller was able to identify the ocean by a description made by her caretaker. Blindness and deafness don’t necessarily mean an absence of consciousness. I’m not offended but HK would probably know something was happening, idk what she would make of any of it
I think it's also important to note that she hadn't been blind or deaf since birth. I forget how it actually happened but it developed when she was young, but still old enough to have had prior knowledge of basic things.
Of course that means nothing about consciousness, of course folks would have consciousness unless they're literally in a coma, it's just that someone born both blind and deaf would definitely have a MUCH harder time doing what she ended up doing (and she did a lotta fuckin things. She was amazing and a huge fighter for women's rights when she was alive, and did that work up until her death too). Someone born blind and deaf would probably manage to develop a system much more specific to themselves, though, despite struggles, while for those that develop disabilities it's often very jarring for them to deal with at first. It's like when people are born without specific limbs and seemingly don't struggle too much as they develop the ability to compensate for it, while someone who loses an arm may often go through dysmorphia and a shit ton of trauma while they try to recover their abilities to do whatever they did with that appendage.

the low res pngs popping up have their own charm to it. Just gives me nostalgia to be honest lol. Not that its that bad or anything. Sure its cheap, but I feel like the horror maps are supposed to get into an uneasy feeling so they can jumpscare you.

i'm seriously flattered my dumb videos could mean so much to somebody, but don't ever say that it's my vids or anything else that makes the difference when at the end of the day it's you. i obviously can't know anything about you but i know struggling with thoughts like that is no joke, and that you need to be strong to overcome them. there's some *sshole in you who might try to convince you that you're not strong, that you deserve to feel the way you do, but the person saying that is not you. if watching my vids is what helps you overcome that, i don't plan on quitting any time soon. i have my own content creators that i like to watch to forget about everything for a while. but make sure please that my vids are not the only thing. have some people you can count on, people you are comfortable talking to about this stuff. it's a lot easier to be strong when you have people you can lean on. i hope this didn't sound like a load of bs, wishing you all the best ❤️
