Huge fan of Lotus Child / The Zolas... composition is right on, and sound is certainly unique. These guys deserve FAR more credit... especially in the US and abroad. Keep 'em coming!
It's just a shame how hard it is to find all of Lotus Child's songs. The only way to get their first EP on disc is to burn it yourself. I guess that's understandable for a underground band that's been abandoned for like 13 years, but still
I am a choreographer in NY and have created works to their music. The NFP I work for paid for the rights for the music. I would just love for the chance to let the band to know how many young kids were exposed to their excellence! They are listening 🙂😃
@Sykoze The Zolas have more variety in their music and the lyrics are more political in theme; where as Lotus Child has more of a rock flavor... it really depends what you're into.
+Valency Trawets I love the Zolas too, Ancient Mars is on par with Gossip Diet IMO, but Lotus Child has a much darker tone than the Zolas. I love them both though, going to see the Zolas tomorrow night.
I don't mind this video like a lot of the comments, I hate it when a video tries to tell you some lame song-length story that doesn't make sense in the end. It's obvious that this group is in its infancy in this video, but it is what it is, simple and catchy. Right?
@ItsAllOverTonight I got the song directly from the band when I made the video .. I think it was from a new album they were recording at the time but I don't know if it was released.

What's wrong with The Zolas? Nothing will beat "Kate" IMO but there are some pretty damn good songs in Tic Toc Tic and ancient mars.
