Women in Armed Conflict

In honor of International Human Rights Day 2022, the OSUN Working Group on Gender Equity presented a webinar on Women in Armed Conflict with experts from the Ukrainian, Afghan, Palestinian and Iranian contexts discussing the connection between war, conflict and gender.
Panelists included Tamara Martsenyuk, Associate Professor at the Department of Sociology, University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and Sweeta Akbari, Founder and CEO of Afghan Women Scholars (AWS).
