what makes zx10 idle sound brap brap like rotary engine does?. is it only zx10 that makes idle sound unstable like that? what is the factor behind that?. it sounds awesome though like a living creature breathing. anyone know why?
Honestly it depends on what state you live in and how strict they are. Here in SC they haven’t pulled the bike yet for loudness but it is very loud no doubt about it.
@Ridingwithrome Yeah I get ya, I've herniated discs in my lower back and naked is kind of the option for me as i used to commute daily but now I only ride on the weekends, hence thinking about the change 😅
You think the CRT is too loud for living at apartment complex and riding all hours? It's hard to judge by video but everywhere says it's so loud never heard one in person
It’s a loud exhaust, definitely rings the eardrums even if you’re not right next to it and it can be heard well from a distance, if you like where you live and don’t want a ton of noise complaints, probably wouldn’t get that exhaust but that’s my opinion someone else may say otherwise 🤷🏾♂️ good sounding exhausts don’t all scream but most of them definitely give you some level of feedback

You can’t go wrong with either man honestly I prefer the MT10 but I am a fan of Nakeds so there is some bias there. But the ZX10 is a great bike also!
