Immanuel Kant | Perpetual Peace

Kant gives his formula for the establishment of world peace. This influential essay not only became the basis for the "democratic peace thesis" (that democracies don't go to war with each other) but became the blueprint for the formation of the League of Nations and later the United Nations.
