The upgrade looks cool
Because this update gave songs with color pallets similar to the notes, I noticed it's sometimes hard to see certain notes (Icebreaker is a prime example). This song would be the left arrow matching the pink and black aesthetic. It got me thinking. What if you saw every note BUT the one you were supposed to play? That could be an interesting gimmick or difficulty.
Or maybe have trap arrows that are the wrong color or pointing in the wrong direction? Like a blue down note being in up’s column or right notes being purple instead of it’s usual red

I still think ectospasm apocalypse is harder tho theyre both very close in terms of diff. I barely beat corruptro on hell with 15 poison notes, but on apocalypse they added back the true hell modchart which makes it SO MUCH WORSE D:

The chart on corruptro is harder and on ectospasm the amount of toxic notes makes it insane, imagine if they both got combined...

corruptro + ectospasm apocalypse is what apocalyptro should be the hardest mod chart and a long song to destroy you mind (apocalyptro teaser got 2 min so yeah it will be long)

I have no idea why, it may just be my nerd talking here, but I like to imagine that this Retrospecter is just a catastrophic mix of the Corruption and Crimson infections from terraria. Like a parallel universe where the fnf Corruption is actually the Crimson and the two infections interlocked in hell with Crimson Bf and the Devourer of gods (yes ik its not the Corruption) and Retrospecter tried to break the fight but instead got infected with both and now he's trapped in an eternal mental prison of Rage and Agony. But hey, im mega nerd so while this somehow makes sense in my brain, it's so damn far fetched. It'd be cool tho so that's what happened to Retro in my mind

There technically are "breaks," where the chart calms down during specific parts of the songs. While it remains an endurance chart, I think it's a bit unfair to say breaks are non-existent

I remember when ecto apocalypse released it took me over 50 tries to beat it, that practise made me beat this in just 2 tries

It's absurd how many there are and how even 5 can drain your hp bar to 0 in less than 10 seconds, like I get that you're getting constant notes but that makes it worse, poison, on top of terrible charting is a nightmare, just look at Termination
