It's against the constitution. Despite this lady's claims (she should know better) , the constitution applies to everyone within the borders of the U.S. The Supreme Court has ruled so numerous times. This law won't get through the state's Supreme Court, let alone federal. If it does, they're just completely ignoring the constitution at this point..

Exactly.... I came as an legal immigrant almost 50 years ago. The law was....if you come in as an immigrant and you break the law...you get deported. That has always been the law. I had an uncle that came in as a legal immigrant almost 50 years ago, as well. After 3 DUIs, he got deported back to Mexico. He had already been in the US for 40 years. So this law is in place and is being applied as we speak. This has nothing to do with racism. It has to do with following the laws that are in place.

I am an American citizen today. My family and I came from Brazil for vacation and we fell in love with America. It required persistence and resolve to create a new life here as we left the country that we also love. We wait years for the greencard. I was separated from my 10-year-old daughter for 3 years, my father died in Brazil and I could not leave the US to say goodbye. Today, I am chiropractor and my daughter is a medical doctor from Duke University. The sacrifices have been worth it, I support any law that protects my beloved America, the land of the free because of the brave.
