Can you save the drum kit setup you edited under drum setup....in case you want to use it for a new style and dont want to edit the high hat's and such everytime?
Hi Sam, great question. I am not aware of this, I believe the data is sysex in the drum part of the style. I need to try if you can get it to another style via arrangement. Really would be useful to save user drum setups and load them also into songs. No idea how to change that data after you quick record your style into a MIDI song.
Sam, copying the arrangement does not work. You have to save a copy of the original style with a new name and delete all tracks. Do not select a new drum kit or initialize the style.
Fantastic Stuff to learn here!!! 😎👍

How do you save the new drum kit as a voice not a style
Thought I had answered this already, that is not possible in Yamaha keyboards as far as I know. Would love that myself!
do you know that there is one more 80’s drum kit?
There is, right? Somehow I always come back to this one 😀
Love the Linn drum samples they added with the Genos, sometimes I double the toms with the other drum machines in that kit...

And looks like 6/8 is not there, strange. 3/4 and double the tempo?
