    The flamingos are awesome! Such a unique looking bird and there's loads of them! The food in the flamingo villas restaurant looks lovely, and what a sweet story about Dally making you the remedy ❤

    Second largest city in Namibia is actually Rundu. but never mind, the difference is minor.

    Also worth to keep in mind: Walvis Bay was never a part of Imperial Germany's colonies, but a British enclave. It was only ceded to Namibia in 1994, when South Africa gained its independence. That, and being the only major deep-water harbour, make it a very special place. I prefer it to Swakopmund-Disneyland.

    I was born in Apartheid South Africa. It is through Namibia that i see how abhorrent apartheid was from an outside view. Walvis Bay was the last part of Namibia to be given back by south africa. Interesting fact some residents of Walvis Bay took part in South Africas first democratic elections in 1994 as they were still technically South African citizens.
