- A rather dismal October Friday in 1993 and one of my first videoing trips to the West Midlands , Heritage types are clinging on to services dmus/emus class 31 handling spoil duties and the Bloxwich trip.
class 37s/58s/60s/47s/08s and one of the research red/pink/grey liveried class 20s.
The first few minutes of the downloaded tape was a bit jumpy, but unavoidable so my apologies for that.
Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching
It doesn’t always rain in Walsall, 30 years ago!
Super sequence Brian👍
Thanks mate.
Another Gem of an upload Brian, thanks again for putting this one up..Regards...Bob
Thanks Bob,there will be a few more "Bescots" in the future always stopped off there en route to other locations on the west coast mainline.
cheers brian
that's a great video brian oddly I just clocked the class 323s in this clip just one year before they all enter services in 1994
Another like from me Brian cracking classic footage! The highlight was the 5x 31's with ploughed up 31146 leading, 37680 & the RTC 20 those were what i really wanted to see back then, me been a manchester bloke 31's & 47's was all i saw constanly so didn't tend to bother with them but of course now your lucky if you see either class more than a couple of times a year on regular trips out.
Cheers, Jon.
Back in the days when anything turned up on almost anything happy days mate 🙂
Not any more unless you love Shed 66s 😬
Brilliant video
Cheers
Glad you enjoyed it
Great vid, I noticed the trespassers at 6:10?
You used to be able to walk around those locos back the day
They didn't mind they seemed to recognize regular visitors...
