His car sounds awesome. My 08 gt500 is almost as loud.Iam curious if he still owns the KR.Iam a Shelby freak.As I think I told you I am very lucky to own 2 supersnakes a 08 gt500 and my daily is a 07 Shelby gt.But I am looking to buy a KR and Mikes KR is stupid rare. I like rare lol.I love to Shelby build sheet of what Shelby did too his car.Just by the video the is basically a supersnake like mine.The gentleman that owned the car before Mike spent a ton of money. For the supersnake option it was 30grand for my convertible and 40grand for my coupe and by just looking at Mikes car in the video. That build had to be 40grand plus.

I love the sound also it sounds a lot like my 08 gt500 lol sounds like a race car but drive safe be careful all the extra power your kr is making lol it will bite you quickly if you get a little too crazy with the peddle lol beautiful car drive safe man
I know money wise what it took to have both of my supersnakes converted into supersnakes.Well the same with Mikes KR LIke the rims alone were big bucks in have them on my 08 GT500.Also the brakes are the same on my supersnakes and them alone are over 8 grand alone. Beautiful piece of shelby history.

I gotta say I love your car I put it rite up there with both of my supersnakes and someday when buy a 08 kr I am definitely going to see if Shelby American will do the extra mods too the car with out hurting the value.
I hope you both still have your cars.It is crazy how valuable the Bullets are.But Mikes KR is a piece of shelby history. If I had the chance to buy Mikes KR I would have but recently in bought a like new 04 torch red Terminator cobra. I am sure you know all about the Terminators
SouthDetroit Entertainment Thanks for Watching!! Pretty much as he stated in the video, if it was mine and I knew all the details I would expand all I could. As far as I know the car was setup by Shelby and he has not changed anything else.
I never knew the KR had upgrades made for it. I knew the Super Snake came in 2 power ratings, initially - 600 and 725, there may be others from the factory that I don't know about. So, 660 and 720 for the KR upgrades, that's impressive. Are those factory upgrades? Great to know if I'm ever fortunate enough to run into my own 08/09 KR someday.
Thanks for the comment. Everything on this KR is how it was delivered after Shelby did its modifications to the car. I do agree most had the Kenne Bell but this one is how it was built
Great vid Rich. That Shelby is insane Man. That car is the same style they used in the 2008 Knight Rider series. The Shelby was immaculate, not a spec of dirt under the chassis. I like the colour and the exhaust sound is awesome. One incredible nice car. Well earned.

Question for the Super Snake heads If you had an opportunity to secure a 2011 super snake, with a little over 1500 miles on the car, would you purchase it, for $100,00.00 Or would you wait for the 2019 / 2020 model, that would be a more affordable?
SouthDetroit Entertainment I personally think the 11 style is alot better than the s550. The 11 super snake looks killer!! As far as the 100k I'm not sure on that but you know that car is only going to appreciate in the future. I guess it depends how much you like the car and how much you want to spend. 👍
I agree, and on the 2011, there's so much more room to build more horse power, especially, with just a handful of bolt ons But the asking price is insane, i'm debating on negotiating but i'm not sure, if the people selling it, will be willing to take offers, lower, than what they're asking for
SouthDetroit Entertainment My Buddy paid 85k for this car with 500 or so miles and it appraised for 185k . I'm sure there's room for negotiation on that snake, all you can do is try.
If the car was produced as a KR FROM THE START WITH THE BIGGER BLOWER FROM DAY ONE THAN THAT DEFINITELY MAKES IT DIFFERENT FROM THAN THE 1000 BUILT.IF THAT'S THE CASE THAN ITS ONE OF ONE.
YAH MY 08 GT500 HAS THE KR MUFFLERS AND WITH CATS AND STOCK HEADERS LOL IT'S VERY LOUD AND I COULD ONLY IMAGINE WHAT IT IS GOING TO SOUND LIKE WHEN I PUT MY H PIPE NO CAT'S AND LONG TUBES LOL IT'S GOING TO BE SICK.
If from day one the car was built with the bigger blower then it's something different from the rest of the build. I hope I don't sound like a dick but it drives me up a wall when people buy a car throw some mods on and think they have something special. But when they produced the KRs and from day one your car got that set up it so makes it different from the rest.
Anthony Laudano I’m not sure what answer or response your looking for here? I can post a picture of Shelby’s build sheet if need be showing all of the options on this car and there are no added mods to the car. It’s a 1 of 1 because Shelby could not put the taller blower under the hood of the KR as it wouldn’t fit because they had an agreement with Ford to not modify the exterior of the body of the anniversary edition KR. After months of back and forth with Shelby they figured the only way to add the taller blower was to move the engine mounts lower and lower the engine. Since they were going to go this far they decided to add a more aggressive cam than the super snakes had bringing it up to 840HP. Like I said this all documented in writing from Shelby. Very cool to get feedback from someone so interested in Shelby’s and the story of this one. Good stuff

Anthony Laudano I got ya, makes sense. Officially it's a kr but his mods we're done by Shelby which in my mind makes it a Shelby modded 1 of 1 like he said. Anthony Laudano this car has zero mods and was built by Shelby as you see it. It’s not marketed as a “Super KR” as it was the only KR one made with the 840 HP motor. The gt500’s that got the engine packages with more than 600 HP cars were called Super Snakes. This GT500KR has the highest HP engine they made on any Shelby that year. Super KR is what it was called but like I said nothing officially marketed that way and you could call it a GT500KR with the Super Snake engine or just Super KR. Awesome that you own 4 Shelby’s 👍

I think the original ‘super’ KRs came with a kenne belle supercharger but this one is still great. Not sure it will have the same value
