Unarguably one of the absolute best hockey forwards, ever. I don't think he's going anywhere for a little while. I think he is going to be Washington's captain and well deserved even as his numbers and ice down inevitably go down.

Secondly, after the World War II Canada gave refuge to thousands of Nazis who fled from punishment in Europe, including Ukrainians. One of them was recently honored in the Parliament of Canada, which caused a big scandal. The head of parliament resigned.
@@3nadsat Thanks. I do know that after the Great Patriotic War, most of the West conspired with the Vatican and the Nazis, through the Ratlines. This included some of the Nazis from what is now Croatia, that indeed conducted genocide against Serb, Jews and others, not counting the forced conversion to the Roman Church. So Russia being the Protectorate of the Orthodox Church, has the RIGHT to protection them. Especially what happened in Yugoslavia in the 90's, after the Soviet Union dissolved and Russia intervened to save the Serbs from NATO!

I remember when ovi started his career and everyone was saying he wouldn’t be able to keep up his high level of play while playing so physically. Everyone was saying he will end up being injured a lot in his career!! Now he will definitely go down as the greatest goal scorer of all time. Unless Austin Matthews stays healthy he might come close to 850 900 goals and when we sign McDavid in 3 years Matthews will definitely have a good chance to be the leading scorer of all time. I personally think Pavel Bure would of been top 3 all time if he played on a decent team and was healthy but if my aunt had nuts she would be my uncle. Bure was so good and I believe he is top 3 in goals per game but just couldn’t stay healthy!!!

@@rickhammond2473- a lot of jealousness out there it seems about Ovi. I think it upsets many hockey fans, especially Canadians, that Ovi a Russian, might break Gretzky’s goal record. But comparing him to others by cherry picking one stat isn’t fair…to any player. Each of those guys could do things the others couldn’t, different skill sets. It’s hard to argue against the fact that Ovi was an amazing physical talent and could do things no one else could, esp in his first 8-10 years or so. And as he still has one of the most lethal snipe shots ever…amazing power and accuracy. Can’t we all just be grateful that we were able to see such a talent during our time? The man is an all time great.
