been enjoying traveling and having fun doing this every morning
I'm glad you have been able to go with me and help toss the birds.
Nice progression, they'll be ready. Best of luck on the races.
Thanks Buddy ....I know that I am ready for the races to begin just hope the birds are Lol.
It’s good to see all of your birds doing great. I’m ready for the race season!
Over all the birds seem to be doing very well...I still have all four of your birds, one of yours lags behind sometimes but the others are always johnny on the spot...Just two more weeks to the first race...I can only race 20 birds at a time so I will try and pick the best birds for the first race and the rest will race the second race both are 100 miles races. PS: Your bird at "Apple Cup" today came in at 257 position on a 65 mile toss.
@@cavenderloft Sounds like a plan. I’m ready to see how they do!
@@cavenderloft I saw that. Glad to see it doing good too!
@@treydentatum2807Yes Sir!
good training good luck
Thank you friend.
Those reds are so pretty. I think there my favorite
Yes and they will even get prettier as they molt they will get more white mixed with the red.
Birds coming decent again, trap like gang busters...practically tear off the bobs. Just a couple tips from experience....group tossing is a waste of time and at about 45 air miles the birds are trained, no need to go further unless they really need extra work. You should try to release with another flyer before the races to teach them to break. Other then that, I look to see you do well this season.
Yep they are trapping very well....thanks for your advise and thanks for watching.
What's the size of your loft n how big is each section, how many birds to a section
My main Loft is 20 x 12...The two front sections that I race out of is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, the back two sections are a little smaller. I prefer to have 35 birds or less in my main race section.
Hey, what part of pa are you located?
Between Middletown & Elizabethtown.
@@cavenderloft Cool, I just moved to the lower Poconos from NYC. You have some beautiful, smart birds. I am looking to get started next spring.
Thank you for the kind words....I think there are some flyers in that general area that fly in our Combine.
@@cavenderloft Yes, I have to start looking into that. maybe I can purchase some yb from you next year.
That could be possible but I first breed to fill all of my One Loft Races and then for my club races.
Birds are coming along nice.. But, get rid of those yellow Trentons.. They are useless.. You know how I feel about them things.. 😂.. They are only good for super long races of around 500 - 600 miles.. That's what they were bred for back in the day. That's like racing a Volkswagen Bug against a Ferrari nowadays.. JMHO
I don't think you will need to worry about the yellows much longer I only have two of them left on my race team Lol.
@@cavenderloft .. I agree.. I didn't mention it but was thinking about it.. LOL
You won't believe it but a Yellow came back after 3 days now I'm up to 3 Yellows Lol.
@@cavenderloft .. Oh geez
