Hi Lucas, I forgot to tell you that after your 25 day hip opener class and subsequent at home practice and with the help of my Physical Therapist, I can do a standing on one foot pigeon or eagle which is a very delicious pose. I feel like the Karate kid. When I started your class I was in extreme pain doing those pose IOW I couldn't do those poses and now it's relaxing and assists in balance practice. It took about 30 days with consistent practice.
Hi Teacher Lucas 😊, I just followed this exercise for my sciatic nerve pain. And I hope it will really help me..I started following and doing your educational exercise here for sciatic pain relief. I'm.glad it's been helping me and since I started doing this I managed to not take pain killer anymore ☺️☺️. I'm hoping for more progress. Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge with us! God bless you more 🙏
this is the only video that show step by step movements and so easy to follow .. I had tried at home and got an positive effects on my back . Thank you so much Lucas 💓
You are amazing, absolutely incredible. Thank you for making videos for those of us who are not in California we greatly appreciate you. Wishing I never moved out of California.😂
Hi! Thank you for your video. It would be helpful if the routine wasn’t interrupted by commercials. I may be mistaken, but I believe that the channel can choose to have commercials run at the beginning/end of a video instead of the middle. That would make the experience much better. Thank you 😊
Hi Lucas. Just finding your videos and the breathing for anxiety I've been doing today and just ran across the one for pain in the wrist when you do push-ups or any kind of exercise yoga. I have pain on the left side of my wrist which is swollen on both sides and I overuse it when I'm trying to do yoga after a long time of none. My question is if mine is on the left side and not on the right where the ulna is are these exercises for me? If so I will stabilize them overnight and get my pain relieved until I hear a response from you. Thank you and I'm looking forward to several of your videos that I need! Have enough lot of pain and anxiety, depression over caring for my mom for a couple of years. Nothing was to keep me in shape so I've lost a lot. And I need help with every muscle in my body that has weakened. This is the painful one right now.
I saw the disclaimer (and the video title). What are these exercises intended to treat? For example, what sources of sciatica(I did see the disclaimer)
Hi sir Lucas just new here..I have numb feet at the right if I walk for about 20 minutes it starts to numb..I have back pain sometimes..hope this vedio will help me.thank you god bless
I’m looking at joining one of your challenges. I’m finding that my back issues are related to tight (and weak) hips predominately on one side. Would you recommend the Back Program or the Hip Program?
Hi … these exercises with the head up give a lot of neckpain . Is there any alternativbe ? I like the exercises very much as they are clear and simple to do everyday . But my neck hurts Thanks for the feedback ;)
i have sciatica pain on my right leg. Noticed that when I walk it helps.and in the morning when i wake up or if i sit down thats when i feel the pain. do have scoliosis. was operated in 1972. had a 60 degree curve....have 2 fused rods in my spine. can i do this excercise. n
Is it okay to feel an insect crawling sensation ? Bottom of my foot? After performing the supported bycyle ? Each time I extended my leg at 45 heard a pop in my spine in the affected area. Could you please reply if you have ever had such an issue before?
Hey Lucas, thanks a lot for your great videos. I really like your factual and pleasant way of presenting and the general structure of your videos. So much so that I started with your "Science of Stretching" program. And this even though I have had bad experiences with stretching exercises and especially with their after-effects, such as muscle stiffness lasting for days and pain/burning sensations in the affected areas. So far, doing your exercises in combination with your accompanying instructions, these problems have been kept within limits. Thank you very much for this! (Things can only get better. At least I hope so.) I wanted to ask if these exercises for sciatic pain also help with burning pain that radiates into the inner thighs. Or is that a completely different problem? I have had this problem for some time in both thighs. Though the pain in my left thigh/leg is little bit stronger and is radiating all the way down to the left inside of my foot resp. the sole of my foot. However, the pain in the lumbar region itself is minor/moderate. Apart from a slight right convex s-shaped scoliosis, which seems to have formed due to a leg length difference (right leg is approx. 7-10 mm shorter) and minor changes or constrictions in the L5/S1 area, there is nothing wrong with me according to the physicians and the MRI scans. Nevertheless, I have this discomfort/paraesthesia. I am in my early thirties, not overweight and have been doing moderate endurance sports and body weight exercises until this problem started to emerge. I have tried a lot over the last two years (medication, physiotherapy, targeted strength training, etc.) to be fit and resilient again. Unfortunately, only with moderate success. If you have any advice for me, I would very much appreciate it. Who knows, maybe this is an interesting topic for a future Video of yours. Or maybe not. 😉 Keep up the good work!
Lucas, I haven't watched the video yet, so not sure if you use blocks in this one or not but I'll ask here anyway! What are the dimensions of your yoga blocks/bricks? I'm looking to get a pair, and I'm confused by the varying sizes. I think you're around the same size as me and yours seem to suit. It's a shame you guys don't sell them in your store!
Hi Riko - almost all blocks are roughly the same. The ones I use are actually too big (I have giant hands). Don't matter at all... get whatever you like!
noticed when i do the third excercise, (pointerpose)i have a crunching sound coming from my spine( lower back). nothing new. not painful. But annoying. So I stopped.
To be honest stay away from the doctor as much as you can. They will give you patches and not permanent solutions. I am sure this channel is incredible and knows better than me. Here is what I would suggest if you have not. 1) get into intermittent fasting and work yourself up to 4 hours widow of actual eating. Start with 7 hours and work up. 2) juice once or twice a week. (You can either order online or make them at home) I have had pain last 2 years. When I started with the above 2, it decreased my pain by 90%. Please please stay away from doctor and most importantly watch your food man. Good luck

Do you have a video or solution for scoliosis or just daily tight joints due to weather associations? Rainy days and tight muscles and joints.
I don't have now, Maria. But we'll try to make one
Do you suggest doing this routine in the morning or at night ......or it doesn't really matter?
Hello Nancy - whenever you can get it done!

Hi Lucas. Thank you for this. For the pointer pose, can you explain what you mean by "squeezing everything towards the midline"?

Would these work well with L1 L2 L3 disc issues
Question-how do I get to the place where I can sit back on my feet with my knees in front. BTW, I'm 61. Thanks.
Actually, I guess its sitting on your heels with your knees down in front of you.
I’m looking at joining one of your challenges. I’m finding that my back issues are related to tight (and weak) hips predominately on one side. Would you recommend the Back Program or the Hip Program?

Hello Erik - both legs is possible, but rare. Both legs + inner thighs, much less common. I would for sure go get checked out.
Exactly same 😔 doctors say it's all in my head, but the fact remains I'm in extreme sciatic nerve pain all through its root

My left leg feels worse
Much more active tingling after these exercises. That seems bad?
It's not a bad sign, however, back off on the intensity when you practice again.

Sciatic pain is gone afger first practice.
I can't do... It's hurt😢

Glad you liked the video, Bindu!
