    For those confused:
    1) Ignore the thread length that’s twisted. It looks like something happened that we missed but it’s irrelevant. It’s just her thread doing that on its own and it doesn’t do anything.
    2) when she says “reverse” the needle, she means move the needle with the eye facing the tail-end pinched between fore and thumb.
    3) take the tail-end side of the thread and wind that around the needle 3 times. The “tail-end” refers to the end of the thread opposite of the needle.
    4) With the spiral‘s windings pinched between fore and thumb, pull the needle point-ward away from the fore-thumb thread. This tightens the thread, securing the knot.
    Hope this helps !!

Not everyone thinks and learns the same. What is blatantly obvious to one person can be totally confusing to another simply on the way it is presented because of the way their mind works. In one of his interviews, Richard Feynman gave a brilliant example of how people think in different ways. He and another scientist each knew they could do something that the other could not comprehend could possibly be done. Each had a brilliant mind, but because of the way each of their minds worked, they could not could not do what the other found simple. This is why we fail so many of our young people. We have a school system that believes because it was easy for them to learn this way, then that way must be the right and ONLY way to learn. So if this video was confusing to you, take comfort in the reason why and that you are not alone. Seek out other examples and maybe one of them will click for you.

@i blocked ads to watch this video Thats all these Reddit queens ever do, regurgitate the same tired joke as the other 10,000 cookie-cutter Redditors, each one more desperate for peer approval than the last. It is utterly pathetic. That site has been a cancer of the internet since it first started, as, poetically enough, a cookie-cutter copy of digg.

BRUH I FOUND OUT HOW TO DO ITT! for people how are still confused even with the other comments help!
    1. the “tail” end means the side where the thead isn’t connected from the start
    2. The “top” part is the other end
how to actually do the knot:
    1. Cut out a piece of the thread
    2. Put needle through thread/ hold how she is: 1:52
3: REVERSE THE THREAD means that you hold your hand that is holding the needle in place and the needle itself moves to the side and back without moving its place so you make a loop
4: hold that loop/the needle with the hand thats still holding the thread in place from earlier
5: like as she says take the “tail” part and rap that around the needle 2-3 times and pull it down so your now also holding that now and then take the needle and pull up and it should make a knot!
I KNOW OT STILL MIGHT NOW WORK FOR SOME JUST KEEP PRACTICING OR ASK FOR HELP/JUST DO A BASIC OVERHAND KNOT!

I do something similar (called the Quilter's Knot I think) but using different hand positions which seems to make it much more foolproof to me.
I just keep the needle in my left hand turning the point to face my right then take the end of the thread and lay it alongside the shaft the of the needle (pointing towards the eye). I hold the tip of the thread with my left thumb and wind it around the needle shaft with my right (it doesn't get caught or tangled with the start of the thread this way), edge my left thumb down to grip the spiral and simply use my right hand to pull the needle outwards so the spiral slides along the thread and knots near the end.
