- If any of you know, you know I'm a bluesman at heart. I decided to take a leap into the modelling world once again as an alternative means of a at home recording and gigging rig. I haven't had much luck in the past. Until now.
Here's my review of the Tone Master Pro after owning it for quite some time now.

Sounds great! Nice picking 👌 How about some live footage with your band and the Fender Tonemaster Pro in a future video? Would love to get an idea of how it sounds in a live band setting.
If we ever get a live date, I will definitely do that. Our schedules are all out of whack these days. Cheers!

Sounding great Jason! I have been using the twin Princeton setting that came as a preset. Does everything I need. I play at church. I also love the 59 Bassman too. God bless.

I tend to find that those are disparaging about the TMP are often selling captures. I think it's great because I can get a rig out of it super quickly. For my live work I use plugins and have had to do a lot of tweaking but for mucking about at home it's been a joy.
👍 I wasn’t even going to add my rig on the video, I really don’t see the point of giving someone your tweaked preset. What works for me is going to be totally different for someone else. Everyone knows that stuff though if you’re a guitarist. I’ve tweaked every preset I’ve used on this thing to the point you’d never recognize it after. lol

I wanted to buy the tonemaster pro but, it was too expensive for me so, i bought a Boss ME 90 instead ! Cool video !

I bought it last week, is a great product, i hope fender will continue to develop it. I am not super impressed by the reverbs but the rest is fine
👌 make sure you do the newest update. Lots of goodies. This thing will continue to grow for sure. Fender has the capital to invest in making this rig the best out there. They listen to its customers. Cheers!
@@JasonHobbsGuitarist Yes i have installed it. I know they released really good updates in few months, i just hope they will continue the development! If they add a sort of dumble and improve a bit the reverb i am done! I really like the unit

Jason, love your channel and subscribed. I just purchased the TMP and for now am running through a nice set of headphones. What output speakers are you using for these videos? Are you plugging direct into the Wizard or one of the other amps in your room? I cannot get the tones you are getting which are amazing. Thanks. Hopefully someday you can post your settings out to the Cloud to download. EricM

For recording, like in this video, I’m using a pair of Yamaha HS5 studio monitors and plugging the TMP into an Apogee Duet 2 recording interface into Logic Pro X recording software.
You can go USB out of the TMP to record as well. I haven’t tried that yet. I’m not using the Wizard amp at all when I’m using the TMP.
The TMP is a great at home playing/recording solution man, love it. All the updates have been great. I’ve owned Kemper, axe fx, helix, none have impressed me like the TMP. Awesome rig.

No, I cheer for whoever is making me money. Haha not a huge sports fan. Dropped sports when I was 9 years old and became obsessed with guitar. 👍 but if I had to choose I guess I’d be an oilers fan. I do own an oilers jersey, lol.
