Fantastic results Dave and some stunning showa there buddy. Well done matey 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Cheers dave, very happy. Which ones your fav? Mines the first one, the Gin Rin I measure up first.
They all look great bud I especially love the Gin rin Ochiba absolutely stunning
Well done and look forward to more of your videos 👍
Yeah bit special the scales on that. Hopefully it continues in the same vein. Cheers dude appreciate it☺️ 👍
Beautiful koi and growth on them.
Cheers dude. Great to see them develop ☺️👍
Epic results and shows that we can all grow our koi with what we have. Secondary Beni will never be true Beni. Unfortunately it is a remnant of the shows blood lines and is never truly gone. Otherwise they all did great and you should be proud of what you have achieved and shared with us all . Congratulations on a super achievement 👍
Cheers Terry . Very pleased with where I've got in 6 months. Let's see where I can get them this summer. Yeah the secondary beni is annoying, I know it will never develop I'm more in the hope it may fall off I suppose. Either way I just want to understand how these things change and see it with my own eyes. Got a few up coming videos you will find very interesting to! Have a cracking Bank Holiday 😊
Some cracking results there Dave, that gin rin Ochiba is 🔥
Isn't it??? Mad the quality of it. May have to try an breed that too at some point. Cheers dude. Hope the pond is coming on well 👍☺️
Hi Dave. Great little winter project to grow and show case your Koi keeping Skills, with restricted room. You have achieved not only Great growth, but Healthy well condition Fish! Well done Mate.
Cheers Shaun, yeah very happy with what I've got from it. Learnt a fair bit too. An agreed to have them all in great health is really satisfying. ☺️👍
Great to see, when a Lot are failing!
Even though that shiro has developed a lot of beni, it's a stunning fish. I would be drawn to it as it is.
The sumi on all your shiro is excellent.
Yeah it's certainly not horrible, I quite like the way it's individual scales. The sumi is cracking mad when you consider is was complete white when I got it. If I ever run out of room for it I'll bare you in mind ☺️👍
Beautiful fish, love them all. I cannot see a deformity but why can’t you breed it, do you think the offspring will get same deformity? Lovely!
Yeah exactly that any traits that the parent fish have is more likely you will be producing in the offspring, its the kind of thing selective breeding trys to get rid of so in reverse you're always selecting the best traits to continue forward. It's a shame as the sumi is like ink on that one. Thanks for commenting ☺️👍
Superb results well done 👏
Cheers scrag☺️👍
If we use aquarium heater to koi pond. Is it good for growth ???
Nice video ❤
Heat is good for growth with correct nutrion and water etc. 24c is. Considered the magic number. An aquarium heater isn't ideal as they generally aren't made for large ponds. So depends how much water you are trying to heat up.
So you made your own JUMBO TOSAI by heating it during the winter months.
Quite an achievement, isn't it?
It feels like it, nothing compared to what you guys do in Japan , but I am trying to learn the ways. A good summer of feeding and being left alone hopefully will get me some even better results. 🤞 any tips you've got send them my way ☺️👍
@@OrchardKoi ”being left alone" How this is coloured is the key to success!!
@atsuminaoki9910 I hope so, as i don't interfer during feeding at all, haven't put a net in the water in months
Shiro are absolutely fecking stunning Dave lad 💯👌🧁👍👍👍
Cheers dude. Very pleased with that Omasako particularly 👌
What do you feed?
So this tub has been fed on Saki Hikari growth medium pellet☺️
