I believe Matt wrote this song that is about the people who have lost people in the Covid pandemic. every TV show and news broadcast was about the science and contradictions during the pandemic, as if we almost forgot that people were actually lost.
That makes sense. I was horrified that an Uncle lost his wife because one of his teenage kids went down the anti-vax rabbit hole that ended up with him getting infected and killing his mother and infecting the rest of the family in Wales. It's fucking stupid how the kid followed that stuff on social media and now we cannot engage with our Welsh family members due to one fuckwit
I finallyyyyy got my album in the mail today, just finished listening to it! Have you listened to it yet on vinyl? This album sounds so different on final, the mix is way different, you can hear all kinds of things that you can’t on digital. I think it makes the vocals sound a little less perfect as well, which I really like. Awesome on vinyl! 🤘
Maybe. But it sounds more like a love song about a woman. I wight be wrong, but I immediately thought about Gaia Poloni (And Matt at festivals was playing MotP again. My heart always aches when he sings "since I lost you" instead of "Since I met you"). Such great Muse songs were dedicated to this woman. This one feels like one of them.
Generic Adel song. Muse had to have been going for controversy with this album as a whole. I'm a long time muse listener myself and I can honestly say that I can't listen to the album through without skipping several times. This is the only muse album I can't listen to all the way through.
One of the few songs that makes me cry every time, I cant help it 😢 Matt really means every word he's singing in this and you can tell

Matt said this one is about losing someone to covid

@@spacedementia1213 It's what he literally said it was about. Every song on the album is about the last two years
Definitely a woman, not covid. That was obviously bs.
hey beautiful just,, like muses music 😉 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
It's very much like Dead Inside
Why are you so beautiful and cute ?

That’s a shame because I think you missed the entire meaning of this album as a whole.
