Nomination for worst advice on the cube. Count as the come. At worst she could have just added the first half up and then the second half on the second go only losing 1 life.
Should have broken it down in waves I.e 17 then 15. But its easy to say when we have the angle we do and she is on her angle. Add in the pressure and it's not as straight forward as people make it out to be.
yeah that is actually piss easy, who can't count 4+3 etc. the only thing that may be different is the angle she can see it at compared to us (looks like we have a better angle) and also the pressure of counting in the studio
You should remember the entire reason the Cube is so hard is it'ss when "simple tasks become epic challenges", so it's the pressure of doing it on telly in front of a live studio audience for £250,000.
If you want advice for how to make this super easy. DONT COUNT the 3’s. Count how many more/less 4’s there are than two on one hand. And count how many more/less 5’s there are then 1’s (im not sure if they ever show a 1) on the other hand. So for this one, ignore 3’s, you’ll count a difference of 0 in the 4’s and 2’s. And one more 5 than a 1. Now we do the math (you would do this before the cubes even show), there is a max of 50 possible cubes (5 every time) and a min of 10 (1 every time) the average of 10 and 50 is 30 ((10+50)/2). This is your baseline. So now you assign 0 to the average possible value ((1+5)/2=3). This means 3’s don’t matter. 4’s are worth 1, 5’s are worth 2, 2’s worth -1, and 1’s worth -2. So 4’s and 2’s cancel each other out (and so do 5’s and 1’s). Now back to what we counted. We have equal 2’s and 4’s, so that’s a net 0. We don’t count the 3’s. And we have 1 more 5 than a 1. So our net value is +2. So baseline + net, is 30 + 2 = 32. This might seem complicated, but remember, you don’t need to know the math. You would know the baseline before the show even started. And you would know how to count them before too. Go ahead and try it. On your left hand count the difference in 2’s and 4’s abandon your right hand count the 5’s. You should have zero fingers up on your left hand by the end any only one up on your right.
"Count up the numbers first and add them afterward"? Does this lady know how math works? You add them to the total as they come in. I did that on all 3 attempts and got the same answer every time. I suppose maybe it takes a certain mind for it though...?

Not counting the numbers on the go was such bad advice

Yeah, I kept a running tally as the squares appeared. I got it right on the first attempt.
Phillip Schofield's reaction he looked as if he was being bummed by somebody who had just walked on set
I’m more impressed that she was able to remember 10 numbers... the human memory usually maxes out at 9
Right that’s a scientifically proven fact she might be one of those 1% in the world
Correct, comfortably it's 7, and at a stretch its 9
She saw it twice so chances are she remembers the first and last numbers
The way she was shouting out numbers like she was elbert isnstein sister
*Albert Einstein
You misspelled Einstein 🤣🤣
I counted 32

Didn't realise she was missing a hand until I was recommend another video
There is no way I guessed the same number as her before she said it

Eh not everyone is good at mental maths. Thats something alot of people take for granted.
Not something I can do
I just counted quick

Easiest game I've seen
@KyRo 271 hes not wrong though.. i guess it suits some better than others but that was piss easy for me
Well just remember she isn't seeing it from straight above like us. She is seeing it at a pretty low angle and way bigger. Plus add in nerves.
Those indian hand calculators must come in handy rn
If you don't get that first try then I fear for humanity
i thought it was 31
The title sounds like a Nigerian scam email.
Sounds so much easier than it was for me
The worst advice ever 😯
For a British TV show the wording of that title is dreadful.
What’s dreadful about it?

Problem with that: she only has one hand.
2:25 *says numbers*
Host: 😮
That was the actual pattern
Why is Kurt Cobain in the audience
I counted them in the cube time and my first guess was 32 let's see?

I got lost after 3+3 cos I couldn't tell if it was 4 or 5 the one after 🤣

an Asian would have nailed this the first time .....
I counted 30 the second time
Not guessing
33
Just count the ones that are missing, much easier
I got it in 3rd try
I know it is 32 my lucky number in rulete ✌️
