You have to give kudos to the person(s) who designed this game. They picked the EXACT number of balls, where it's doable, but you MUST put your heart and soul into winning. God damn.
Can you imagine the hours spent optimising the amount of balls to use and picking them all back up 😱
I know that on survivor, production always has a group of crewmembers play the games first, so they can see how it will work out for when the actual contestants play it. I would imagine that they had someone play this with different numbers of balls until they found an amount that was perfect.

@@DefeatLust Fairly easy way to hone this game though. Fill it with a large number of balls and set the timer, count how many you remove in the time and repeat a few times to see the average. Place the average number in and try again to see if you need more or less (it should be less because it takes longer to remove the fewer there are at the end). Once you have it at a point you like trial it on random staff to confirm the number is good.
You could smash it out in an hour or two.

Love the first contestant in this episode (Series 8), she knew she can do it and her team are very supportive, 0.05 of a second remaining too and again pure luck. I bet people at school since she is a teacher will be very thankful and happy she got the £50,000 she deserves especially since she wanted to challenge herself to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. I always love contestants who have the courage to do well in certain challenges too
