For anyone wondering what is happening at 3:03 with the screwdriver in that small hole search for images of videos of the "adjuster" of the parking brake, it's a screw with a pinion on it and you have to rotate it to screw it in so you can release the parking brake pads. Good luck fellow amateur mechanics!!!

Releasing the handbrake and making sure your brake disc rotates is the easiest way to remove the rear brake discs

This is all very well when you have a car lift, a brake calliper which is all shiney with sliding pins that are lovely and free. Also, you've lubed the bottom pin only and you didn't show the fitting of the pin seal
    Its seldom works this easy.
    Still good info!

Release the hand brake and make sure your wheel is rotating to make sure the hand brake has released, that is how the discbrake comes off. That screwdriver thing his doing doesnt really help. The rear brake discs are held by the hand brake, so just make sure its not on. Thats all.
