Moved to Ruidoso from Dallas and I feel like it may be the most underrated gem of mountain towns in the southwest. So much to do in the area with many different elevation levels. And snowboarding at Apache without lift lines on a powder day ain’t bad either.
@@bfm_overland Been out there a bunch of times even as kids. It's been a while since the last time but I should definitely get out there again. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
A lot of really unnecessary doodads to go camping eh? You got a fire cook with that. You got a sleeping bag, and I'm assuming a thin mattress. Sleep under the stars in the back of the truck and cook your meals on a fire. There, just saved you $3000 dollars. This is where I live man, get back to the basics and live life! The wild NM lands are great when over landing but the experience when doing the bare minimum is the greatest.
Really enjoy all of your content. Beautiful scenery!
Thank you! I appreciate it, it was a beautiful spot for sure

You can watch a channel without the “doodads” if you want 👍
