I think the Seiko 9S85 is a modern 5hz (36k bph) 3 hand movement.

Seiko still makes 3-hand watches which run at 36,000bph. They released an open heart watch a few years ago with a chronometer grade movement running at 43,200bph.

Definitely on of my grails! Halda has a really interesting history, and living just 20 minutes from the old factory makes me want this even more!

Yeah, the LED they used is not caliber and the band is ghastly. I could definitely see room for improvement in future design's.

I love the watch, I love the movement, I even love the gimmicky LED swap in. That rotor, though is downright hideous. If they put that much work into it, why would they drop a rotor that looks like it belongs on a $30 Chinese Tag copy?
Reveille is military wake up time, BTW.
