I can't believe this was not a FACTORY OPTION!! This LED is by far one of the most useful lights I have ever seen for a wrangler! It fits on any jk or jl hardtop, installs in minutes, and gives you an ENORMOUS amount of light at night! EVERY JK/JL OWNER SHOULD HAVE THIS!!!

Ben I did it installed my done right light bar the 3M didn’t really work so went my hardware store I bought gorilla tape and since it was 60” outside worked like a charm thanks for helping me out with this

If the product is even close to as good as the customer centricity, it will be an awesome addition to my 2014JK. Kudos.
Best write up. Question though, if I am using the 12 volt for a fridge how can I wire this to the same outlet?
Yeah that's my question too. I plan on having an ARB fridge hooked to the 12 volt so I'm curious how to connect this to any other power source in the back of the jeep. I'm so green to all this.

How would one wire this if they didn't want to use the 12 volt or the dome light. I like the option of the switch or hooking it to some other power source and just use the remove as a "switch". I'd just velcro it off to the side somewhere.

I have a white JL Rubi and thinking Black Rhino Armory wheels or black XD style wheels, not sure yet. LIked the 20" but probably go 17x9 with -12mm offset
I’ve looked into black rhino, I don’t know much about them though. Never had a problem with XD’s but right now stuck between a few XD’s and fuels. I think I might go 20x12 on this one!
Ben Anton but what about that lift? You think mopar for warranty issues or another route?? Halp
The mopar issues have been fixed as far as I know. I have installed ready lift 2.5 inch space lifts and I really like them, also zone came out with one as well and I have never had an issue in the past with them. Considering they are a sub brand of bds they are made really well. I’m hoping bds will come out with one but for now considering a fabtech 3”
The problem is 17 on 37 is a little too much sidewall for daily driving, 20os will give you a little less and look proportionally correct. I will have a second set of 17 on 37s for when I am out in CO and Utah next year

Wiring it to the dome defeats the purpose of this. After a few minutes the dome light turns off, thus, this light would turn off. Hard wire it.

Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet fam... but i agree. They’re crazy over priced and expensive. One great aspect is that they keep their value for a long time.
Went to buy one a few yrs ago didnt end up getting it at the time cuz of credit but soon as he seen it he pretty much just gave me my license back and professionally told me to leave. Could tell he wanted nothing to do with me didnt even want to offer me a cheaper vehicle

Did you ever install the switch to turn it on/off?
No, actually I hardwired it into the power outlets and used Velcro on the back of the remote to stick it to the inside of the hardtop, then just use that as a hidden switch while still having all of the other functionality it comes with

Going to stop by my local hardware store tomorrow for some taping however I did plug it in just to see how well it works like you mentioned very bright very impressive
Yea the double sided tape doesn’t like to stick in the cold. Not only that but the small circular pieces of tape aren’t very much to hold it by. I recommend getting a roll of double sided tape to lay across the whole length of the rear sides of the lightbar (creates more sticky surface area) and use a hairdryer to heat up the tape which will make it tackier and create a better “stick”. Hope this helps!

How much light does it put off on the inside when the trunk is closed?
I will have to test it out! I did have it closed for a brief moment with it on, and it seemed to light up the whole rear half of the cab. That’s why I didn’t want to wire it to the done light, since it would come on no matter what door I opened, not just the trunk. Hope that helps!

What if you have a soft top?
I believe This will only work with the hard top because of where it mounts
You could probably zip tie it to the soft top frame. Just need to make sure the wires are out of the way when you fold it down. You also need to be able to disconnect the wire if you completely remove the top.
