Hey Tim ! I've bought your Python course on Udemy and have done about 25-30%. I've seen numerous articles that once you get familiar with Python you have to solve various problems and such but none of them actually provide any direction. My question is what should i do to increase my proficiency in Python and gain more experience once i finish the course? By the way your course is designed really well and it's really easy for beginners like myself to learn Python under your guidance!
I suggest you checkout these videos - they should both help answer this question! ua-cam.com/video/2ggiEseQG-Y/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/VWM2nMcEQBU/v-deo.html
Hi Tim, Can you please help me to get the OCA exam? I know how to program but while I see the questions/ challenge question for solving I got stressed and it takes time to solve the problem. I don't know how to be comfortable and solve the problems smoothly, I have your Udemy course and following it step by step its amazing. Thanks
Your best bet is practice, and more practice -keep working at it and don't give up - watch all the videos in this playlist and know that its normal to feel confused / frustrated / out of your depth sometimes as a programmer. It gets better over time!
Hi Tim I subscribe to your course on Udemy. Need advise: I am a software tester. But recently I have seen a trend that coding or software development skills are also required, can you share the skills or courses that can get me started
This video is about Java and Kotlin as it relates to Android development which may be helpful - if not post a followup comment on that video and I'll reply. ua-cam.com/video/DnQnteSF35Q/v-deo.html
@@EarthIsFlat456 They vary. A few times during interviews I've been asked to write code on the whiteboard, it could be anything. I'd been asked to solve coding exercises online when timesd one being on Hackerrank. Once I was asked to code live in front of someone, another they got me to code on a computer during the interview. Never were the exercises all that difficult. If when passing them I wasn't hired, frustratingly.

Hi Tim, I have one question, please. Can I leave Java and move to kotlin is easier, or what do you think?

Most interviews I've been to required coding tests.
Are those tests like the one you get as a student?

@@SK-yb7bx So the tests were very difficult? And have you now found a programming job?
@@EarthIsFlat456 No, the tests were quite easy to very easy. I just need to convince an employer to hire me, only a matter of time.
@@SK-yb7bx Good luck to you, I'm also looking for a programming job in this autumn.
