These are the classes which Indian school lacks . As a student,I always wish we get a teacher like her who could orchestrate our classroom into a session that focuses on our's interests and encourage us to take up what they like doing instead of holding a typical dull class where teacher drones on ,and where we pass on notes,talk trash bla bla bla. What Our schools have been doing is making sure to cover up the syllabus,but that make one's skills remain untouched which ensues student getting perturbed and distressed with angst more often than not. Having said I also feel like Arts should be included in the school curriculum as a subject imo cause everyone has an artist in themselves and cause art helps nurture our perception and insight that we have but is dormant .

I vaguely remember watching this long ago, when i had been in 5th grade. my class had many names for our great acts of bullying juniors, making teachers cry and much more. that is when a new teacher with a warm smile and bright eyes came to the frame to take over our class. our teacher in whom i found a best friend and a great teacher decided that she had enough of the parents complaints and teachers nasty judgements of our class. she turned on the screen and played this video, for once the class remained silent.. everyone realized that they reflected the rowdies, although the class didnt magically transform into a great one, we eventually righted ourselves-- our teacher ,bless her soul -made everyone excited for her class as there would be something interesting or an activity. that day and this video will forever be in my heart and i am grateful to have the memory of it. when i was 10 ,it didnt really mean much to me, but now that im 15 and feeling low..i decided to revisit this gem-- it made bawl my eyes out, it made me remember that sunshine of a teacher i had in my life. when i finally find a purpose in my life ,im determined to become someone who has the power to make a change in peoples heart--even if it was stone cold..

I politely disagree with you, sir. I was given charge of the only only-boys class in public school. Being only boys, there was a kind of barrier, no teacher could cross. I tried even group NLP, but in vain. Then I came across this video on FB, I decided to apply it. On the first day, a boy labeled as ADHD came with his friend and beautifully tapped on my table to create music. I was so surprised that I shook his hand. The whole class cooperated with me and they were the most studious students I have ever taught.
If Ideal teachers could create a space for students where they can portray their talents that is not in a direct way, every student would never be left out.
When i was in 4th grade, teachers wouldn't enter our class for days. We'd throw tables, chairs, and break windows. Even bring blades or some ingredients to make a mini bomb. Pretty much normal as so i thought. I left the country cuz i was severely bullied as a girl. And went to a better school. Didn't got depressed or anything, during those times but this film brought up some nostalgia. Within a month, i was sent to the principal's office at the new school because i didn't know what 'wrong' REALLY was. Showed no remorse and didnt know i was smart. I knew alot about myself once i left that god forsaken place. It was hard for me since i was an asian in an arab country, living with parents who were busy and working hard during those times. Wish i had a better childhood, but now im doing well, in a good highschool in a country with my people and with my complete family. Sorry didn't know why i had to comment this. Had to live with it, thought hurting others was normal as a kid, now i know.. ITS NOT.
Once a teacher like this came for proxy in our class in 9th. She asked the naughtiest boy to give a speech on anything. He gave a speech on biology. He talked rather more about reproduction. All laughed, the teacher asked a science geek. As he stood, no-one gave any attention to him but only making a more longer speech of the previous boy.
This is the best video which describes that the learning always used to be in reverse , no matter how the society judges you but you and only you knows that what is your potential and how much your are capable . I politely disagree with you, sir. I was given charge of the only only-boys class in public school. Being only boys, there was a kind of barrier, no teacher could cross. I tried even group NLP, but in vain. Then I came across this video on FB, I decided to apply it. On the first day, a boy labeled as ADHD came with his friend and beautifully tapped on my table to create music. I was so surprised that I shook his hand. The whole class cooperated with me and they were the most studious students I have ever taught.
If Ideal teachers could create a space for students where they can portray their talents that is not in a direct way, every student would never be left out.
When i was in 4th grade, teachers wouldn't enter our class for days. We'd throw tables, chairs, and break windows. Even bring blades or some ingredients to make a mini bomb. Pretty much normal as so i thought. I left the country cuz i was severely bullied as a girl. And went to a better school. Didn't got depressed or anything, during those times but this film brought up some nostalgia.
Within a month, i was sent to the principal's office at the new school because i didn't know what 'wrong' REALLY was. Showed no remorse and didnt know i was smart. I knew alot about myself once i left that god forsaken place.
It was hard for me since i was an asian in an arab country, living with parents who were busy and working hard during those times. Wish i had a better childhood, but now im doing well, in a good highschool in a country with my people and with my complete family.

Once a teacher like this came for proxy in our class in 9th. She asked the naughtiest boy to give a speech on anything. He gave a speech on biology. He talked rather more about reproduction. All laughed, the teacher asked a science geek. As he stood, no-one gave any attention to him but only making a more longer speech of the previous boy.

This is the best video which describes that the learning always used to be in reverse , no matter how the society judges you but you and only you knows that what is your potential and how much your are capable . Just because you are not thinking and not doing the things which others likes-knows-does doesn't means that you are useless it may be you are rocking more than others which is out of their understanding. Because it's the bitter fact that everyone is special in his/her own field of work , all you need is to give yourself an opportunity then after every will get to know the value of yours.
I really appreciate this kind of teachers who understands the quantity of students and provides them an opportunity to show their talents ❤.

Brilliant portrayal and profound message...we cannot give up on our next generation however we may feel different from them...we just need some innovative approaches to handle them and once we find a crack it is easy to get them out and be themselves. A great lesson not just for teachers but for parents like me too who have to handle teens and their tantrums. Kudos to the makers and the actors
