    As the National Gallery has a lot of Christian devotional paintings, you’ll find a lot of saints. Edward Dickenson, one of the Gallery’s educators, explains how to identify and recognise saints by their attributes, which range from wonderful to gruesome.

    I was there at the National Gallery on the 1st Dec 2021, saw Ed giving such a vivid and inspirational explanations to a group of school children, I was totally mesmerised by his storytelling skills and respect his unique ways to talk to children, fun, inspiring and very educational, a true warm hearted fun educator. WELL DONE ED!

    Your website and UA-cam channel are awesome! Italian museums should learn from what you do! We have tons of awesome art here and we often don't explain and display it in the right manner. Luckily at least the Uffizi are getting there 🙂

    I visited the National Gallery this summer and was absolutely overwhelmed. I got to see everything I wanted to see, but next time I‘m getting a guided tour for sure.

    each saint has a symbol and there are countless saints , so please do many more videos on this topic , also use the same host , he's very relaxed yet respectful - nice job !

    Fantastic thank you for your vivid explanation, I visit the National Gallery once or twice a year, to me its a sanctuary of art. Love it all and love bien in the Gallery, in front of the paintings, exhibitions, museum shop ( I buy regularly, books souvenirs) or the cantine. Keep up with the good work, you and the whole team making the Gallery one of the most beautiful of Europe. I live in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

    I'm from INDIA and I really love your Channel ! I'm really impressed with LEONARD DA VINCI work MICHAEL ANGELO work , RAJA RAVI VARMA work and RAPHAEL work ! When I was 17 met these all Artist thru news paper article I saw their Painting in news paper and I really impressed with their choose of Colours , climate in Painting ! Different Characters ! and so many things attracted Me in Childhood ! I always try to do like them , lil bit I'm doing like them on HINDU MYTHOLOGY stories !
    Please make a Vedio WHEN OLD MASTERS were using home Made pigments ( Minerals , Earth Pigments , Natural Trees Pigments etc ... )! 🙏🏻🚩
