“I’d like to sit on that chair. Um, no 😂😂”
The white deer grazing in the park are the most beautiful art in this episode.
Yes they are! designed and built by the worlds greatest artist!
Both of you are ridiculous
@@Booksaplenty1 you're welcome.
Yeah but you can't shower them.
@@Booksaplenty1 I don't know. I kinda liked it. But I'm a sentimental sap that LOVES old movies too. Happy endings and all that. LOL
designer to Watson: 'it has 30 layers of lacquer'
Watson to Cholmondeley: 'it has more than 45 layers of lacquer'.
That was too funny
manufacturer to designer: we upped from 10 to 15 layers so its even more durable
it's gonna be 60 layers by 2021
Thank you. I thought I heard that right, when he was talking to the designer. 30 layers
Terrible, I wouldn't buy a Used car from him!
Lord Cholmondeley was most charming when he demurred at Watson's request to sit in the chair!
Gordon's job is pretty stressful & unpredictable ... Thumbs up to him👍
I love him , He has a job he loves and is passionate about..Also he is promoting young artists , who may never ever be noticed , yes he will make money ,but he is honest about that.
Rolman80 80 The only thing weird here is your horrendous concept of basic grammatical structure, punctuation, and the spelling of the most simple words.
Yeah if youre a handsome lad that its.
I completely agree Catherine good on him
Its like watching a bird try to impress another bird with random offerings
I just find it so funny that as the party goes on Gordon gets sweatier and sweatier.
Its called *morbid obesity* ( _and he is most likely Diabetic as well_ )
@@LeenaStark Also the contrast between him and Aldo Banker is quite amusing:)!!
Aldo Bakker
The herd of white deer against the green lawn is perfection. 💚
I'm dirt poor. But Gosh love these so much. I could watch Gordon gush about useless and impermanent matter formed in the shape of objects all day long. Not bc I'm so into the objects themselves, but rather his passion for them.
I am enjoying this series. Thank you for uploading them
As someone whos starting in an industry where i have to please clients, Im actually learning a lot from him.
I clicked so fast. I love this series.
It's only "hoarding" if you're poor.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this series! Thank you so much for sharing the full episodes.
Cholmondeley: "They all show your eye."
Gordon: "Thank you."
I'm thinking it might not have been a compliment.... but I do love that Gordon took it as one.
Finally found someone through whom I can live vicariously!
Right??? Lmao
Fantastic show, very dramatic. It's kind of sad watching how a young talented guy's artistic future depends on a mood of a drunk rich crowd who would not care less about his work.
Anne Smith well said !
It is not art.
always has been thus Since Artists always live on the whim of the Rich to back them
@@muchacamara Who says?
@@muchacamara maybe not to you, but I’ve seen worse.
These vlogs are very educational. I have enjoyed them. More please.
I love Greg's art so beautiful! Wonderful to see the private showing here!!! Gordon you are generous w/your passion for art!!!
Absolutely wonderful!
It's wonderful to see the grand hall, garden and even the shops in the city for those of us that are unable to come to London and see them ourselves. What really different than in America is that here (at least in my experience) the dealers often do not buy outright. As an artist I adore the fact Gordon Watson is mentoring this young artist.
So addictive! I need more episodes ....
This is the perfect example of a cringefest and inflated self worth yet I seem to love this show format 😂😂
Pups - I don’t see inflated self worth. That’s just your opinion. It’s certainly not a ‘perfect example’ of anything other than your opinion. I much more consider a ‘cringefest’ those folks financing their mattresses and newest iPhones. But that’s also just my opinion of course. The point is that having immense wealth, or the lack of it, does not necessarily equal cringe. It’s all relative.
I love your cat. I have 3 cats and 2 Angora Rabbits.
He's like a pompous, fat Phill Jupitus, right?
I agree. There something off putting about these people and their cavalier way of spending a year’s wage for most people on a chandelier, but I enjoy the peek into the world.

Wow. You have balls Gordon .Extraordinary salesman.
It's great to learn about another world; Watson has his own charm, and he's being himself,
I love to hate poor Gordon. I think they all tolerate him. As do I! Haha
Newly discovered this an I have become OBSESSED such an excellent idea of the whole scene love love love it
He is neither a good salesman nor a good buyer with an eye for elegance. He is just a gambler.
I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
The wallet, not the eye.
As a non-native speaker, I am still baffled by the way "Cholmondeley" is pronounced. The English language can be a nightmare.
Some sociologists have posited that the incoherence or counter-intuitiveness of some surnames or titles in high-society are used as social markers to easily know who is "in" and who is "out" of the upper crust. Most people have never heard of Lord Cholmondeley, and would not be aware of the proper pronunciation thereof: this would be picked up immediately by anyone who lives in this society and naturally knows that name. A sort of shibboleth, if you will!
It is somewhat due to the fact almost all of the British aristocratic surnames are of foreign origin. Hence the buchered pronounciation. For example, this surname is French and is pronounced Sholmondely, while Rothschild is German and pronounced Rotshield...and so on and so forth.
We need more people like Gordon. I hope he recognise me some day.
19:14 Haha 30 layers just turned into 45 layers!
That thing is hideous...
Don't forget our chubby expert added his own 15 layers of spit and goo.
So the rich just want to have it but not pay for it.
That’s how they stay rich. Leona Helmsley said “We don’t pay taxes.”
That's everyone, lol. That's like every poor 11 year old on UA-cam. " a Give me that doll for free! You have so many and I'm poor and my parents can't afford it and I want it now Bish!
What a great job. Surrounded by beautiful things, people and architecture. I think the bust of Mr. Walpole looks like Mr. Watson. Thanks for posting.
I do love him, and love the series
Watching I was thinking wouldn't it be fun to see Gordon meet up with Edina & Patsy
I like him too. He loves what he does and that is just fun to watch.
Wonder how long Gordon waited before calling Lord Cholmondeley: "Sir, the vases have had a wonderful stay in your home but need to move on to other admirers. Would you like them to stay permanently or on a lease basis?"
I love Gordon Watson. He is always, always, ALWAYS in a good mood. How does he do that?
drugs
cameras around him...and a great sense of Self...hes a joker and he knows it....
Profit €€€$$$£££££££
The Bust at 4 mins looks like Gordon as well as the subsequent painting lol :)
The best protagonists in the series are the two guys delivering the art change my mind
I love this guy. He is Ace
I did not like the chandelier but love the glass champagne holders, they are beautiful
-I'd like to sit in that chair..
-I'm not sure.
LOOOOOOOOOOOL !!!!!
i wanted more of this series
I love me some Gordon Watson! Fearless bold and a truly passionate salesman 😍😍
YESS
good show, I learned a lot.
19:15 the 30 layers of lacquer become 45..
I guess at this point I would be surprised if there were more than 3
Gregg is an amazing artist!!!
My son is a Michellin star chef. Huge amounts of blood, sweat and tears went into his sixteen hour days to get him to his current position. He was supported by me his father, throughtout, financially and otherwise. It was his dream! Any amont of help given to anybody who is talented, or otherwise needs to be celebrated! Well done Gordon and well done Greg.
He's sweating thinking about that chandelier
“Polite society” is so craven that they won’t discuss frankly the only thing that matters to them: money.
M R. Your lack of knowledge in relation to the basics of sentence structure and proper punctuation is what is truly craven here.
That's the first rule of being rich.
@@ryanjohnson1265 oh you with your gramma and shit! Shove it up yo bum.
@@ryanjohnson1265 seconded.
Love this series...
Love Gordon !
Amazingly entertaining ~ Thank you ;->
This guy is so fab.
Love this series !!
i feel like art is gods expression of forgiveness and connection for all humankind.. it makes me warm and tingly inside
These shows are a lot of fun. Get it, "lot"
Amazing Show!!!!
So Gordon’s basically been financially supporting and taking care of this young lad, till now. he has amassed enough of his stuff to now actually make money and make his investment pay off.
That is what is all about. He is a born speculator.
He’s gay and the lad is his bf or fuck buddie
@kim Dier hahahahaha lol yeah
I love how he touches things, art...I worked for an art house. Believe e when I say I touched petted and coveted!
My god these items are sooooooo expensive!! Those ugly water jugs are hideous and way too expensive LOL
That's the life! 😎🏌
Sue Johnston! Ah, it was killing me...so familiar but couldn’t place it. Had to look it up!
There is a paper thin membrane that separates Gordon from barrowland sleezy dealer types. A sort of posh overweight version of Drew Pritchard.
I'm not familiar with these references. If you don't mind, what is barrowland and who is Drew Pritchard?
Thank you! I agree--I find him to be a bit of a huckster and a charlatan.
Kevin Walker drew is a fairly famous antiques dealer in the UK who does not have the posh voice this chap does and comes from a working class background and barrow boy is a street market trader who will buy and sell anything and has generally loose morals when it comes to legality. This guy is just a posh version of those two which adds British “respectability”. He is just as big a shark if not bigger and the clients he calls the great and the good are generally speaking the folks who make fortunes from dirty money but it’s such an amount the British ignore where it comes from as they want a piece of it. As for the artists, well, come on, it’s all a shell game after all. If something gets this lots interest then it becomes the next greatest thing, those artists know that and produce what they want, their is little soul in this, it’s all about money at the end of the day!
I think it would be to his benefit to stop coming on to every man he meets. Makes me sick and most likely them as well. I find that sleezy enuff especially when he is doing business.
more like cobweb thin
Mr Gordon Watson is a good and humble man and I feel very angry when the Lord did not let him sit on the chair!
No, no the chair is used for opening parliament every year. Probably only the Queen may sit on it. Also it is probably insured for a lot of money and if Gordan sits on it and it is damaged it is not covered by the insurance. Not allowing third parties to sit on it may well be one of the insurance terms.
Milk jug is a big joke
and its only 2000 euros
LOVE,LOVE, LOVE THIS MAN AND SUBJECT! ...LINDA NEWTON-PERRY OF BIGFOOT BALLYHOO
" In polite society, discussion on money is on the same level as bad manners". This is a disgusting statement
but its true. i dont support it but that is what is connected to that kind of society
@@Pimpmedown it's true
It was true in America for a long time. 4 things were never discussed , How much money you had or made, religion, sex or politics. I grew up in house like that. While to some it may seem a long time ago but it wasn't really.
@@s.fuhrmann In "polite society" didn't talk about money because money were not or should not be a problem. This was a distinction between rich and poor people.
@@ioannistsile4221 My family was not wealthy by any stretch of the imagination. Ok but not wealthy. But even after I was out on my own. Salaries were never discussed. Even my ex who at this point is 69 would get livid if anyone discussed money.
He overpays for most things and they are not that great. And on the other hand, if he doesn't take care of his weight, he will soon be the richest man in the cemetery ...
No snobbery here aha
Ugh this series is seriously beautiful and educational. But Gordon and his extreme sense of ignorance and a condescending tone makes it’s unbearable to watch. Plus his ego takes up all the pixels.owe
I think he is charming and doesn't take himself to seriously. I don't feel threatened by him do to my own personality. I see your point though.
Pixels? Good word
It's because you don't know how to enjoy his presentation. You take him too seriously. Most of his words is just to take as silly funny thing. It's a cringy enjoyance or whatever I should called it, I am just laugh on him and he do it on purpose.
@@Eza_yuta haha yes
@Stephen Murphy I know the items are emperor new clothes. But I enjoy the series without liking the items on it. For the comment I discussed, I like the way Gordon make himself as man punch sack as humor. He clearly make viewers mocks him in purpose, which his kind of joke.
tea made from the bark of the urushi tree used to be used in the process of live mummification! It's a dangerous art for it's "poison ivy" like qualities. A lovely art form, centuries old.
Watching this series has been a total delight 🤗 Ive learnt so much and I must say he and I are kindred spirits. If I were to be reborn as a man I would want to be him
A descendant of Lord Delamere (now late), was also called Cholmondeley. One of the biggest land owners in Kenya.
How this name is pronounced is beyond most of us Kenyans... It was a highlight of a criminal proceeding when he shot down a local at his ranch.
Only reason I clicked only to realise it is not the "Chomly" I hoped to see...
He sucks dick!!!
If that Lord was from Miami, the show would have ended, "Lord Cholmondeley is not returning Gordon's calls but denies having any of Mr. Watson's art"
those glass bowls were hideous
This makes me want to go Gordon at the Salvation Army.
Huge TEXAS SIZED HUGGS AND KISSES YES YES YES :)!!!keep 'em coming dear WATSON
Greg is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥!
16:13 nailed it.
He doesn't look as if he's missed many dinners...
How dare you
OMG in the first episode I saw the decorator blasted those Dutch ceramic pieces. 🤣🤣🤣. He was designing a home for a Russian millionaire.
I thought that was funny too. He was right. Most "modern" pieces are just outright shams.
Don't get those peanuts stuck in your teeth. This guy is hilarious.
Watson's motto: A fool and his money are soon parted.
Im in love with Gordon ... Please bring him to a US show!
nice
I love the porcelain milk jug and he skipped over the tea pot which was the coolest of all things. So funny how he compared it to women buying shoes in all of the colors. I actually like the "old lady", chandelier as well as the new nature inspired one. Having an art show gives me a panic attack, but I am sure he parents are pleased. Wish I could do the same.
He summed himself up allright, me, me, me. I don't even know if he even actually appreciates the objects he sells. Seems to be all about the money. And the fact he seems to be lacking the thing I love about the British the most, class.
Eeek - hate the tiger painting......naaaasty!
Love.
when the exclusive clientele becomes the elusive clientele
The most beautiful of all the statues are the deer in the gardens. Nature is always the most beautiful.
I've watched many episodes. I'm interested about the hig-end customers that you takes merchandise to there homes they seem to never purchase any thing. Or is it done later exclusively off camera??
His hound is skulking around with them... too adorable
So am I the only one who thinks Gregg is Anglicizing Japanese style?
“Only €2,000” 😂😂😂
Good old Chumley
I'd love to have money to be part of the art world.
I need to know about the expensive chandelier. 💯😆
