I Hit $12,590 k today. Thank you for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last week . I started with 3k last week now I just hit $12,590…
Bernila George understanding of market indicators is impressive. She knows exactly when to enter and exit trades for maximum profit. her signal are top notch.💯💯💯
YES!!! That's exactly her name (Bernila George) so many people have recommended highly about her and am just starting with her from Brisbane Australia.
You work for 42yrs to have $2m in your retirement, Meanwhile some people are putting just $20k in a meme coin for just few months and now they are multi millionaires I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life
How did you manage to achieve that level of growth? I've been trying everything I can to improve my investments, l want to retire in a few years and I need a better diversification
I'm celebrating £32K stock portfolio today... Started this journey with £3K.... I've invested no time and also with the right terms, now I have time for my family and life ahead of me.
I love your show! I've been watching for over a year now and I am surprised the channel isn't bigger by now. People seem to be overly attracted to wild viral nonsense. I watch a lot of different finance YT accounts and this is my favorite by far. I do my best to respect the FOO. I also share a lot of the content with my family and my brother reached out to me excited looking for some help opening up a Roth IRA and setting up automatic contributions. He is 22 and has so much compound growth to take advantage of. Keep up the good work! Can't wait to see you hit a million.
My emergency fund just covered a large, unexpected auto repair, I'll need to pause investment contributions for a couple months but that's it. Hold an appropriate sized emergency fund, stay out of consumer debt my friends.
I think you don’t have to cut it entirely but it’s important to realize you’ll likely have to downsize the investments by a decent amount until E-Fund is filled up
@@jaredfrazier2216It’s due to emergencies happening and needing an emergency fund. What if he needs another car repair within one month? It couldn’t be ideal to sell investments for emergencies.
As a licensed insurance professional of 20 years, I just want to clarify that umbrella insurance does not cover any of your gaps in coverage as Brian suggested. All it does is give you an additional amount of liability coverage on top of whatever liability coverage you already have on your other property and casualty (auto & home) policies you already have. There are sometimes minimum liability coverage amounts that the underlying policies need to meet but it is cheap for the additional liability coverage you get and I would recommend it. But remember it increases the liability you already have, it doesn’t protect you against more things or plug and gaps in coverage. I’m a long time listener and have read your book. Great show otherwise guys.
I recently sold my home and moved to a cheaper home to pay off debt, fund my emergency fund and get my life back on track I still have more than enough living space and couldn't be happier! Thank you Brian and Bo for putting out content like this!
People never want to cut back. They want a magical cure like refinancing the house to pay off debt every few years. I have people coming to me for help but they only want money. They don't want to do what's necessary. I literally have a friend asking me if he can move in as I type this. 😩
Annie you literally hit the nail on the head with your statement. They do indeed refi their house in order to pay off the bad habits and debt they accrued over the last few years. My neighbor next door to me has done that twice! Her habits are horrible, and she can't stop racking up the debt on everything.. Everything is a payment that's all she knows how to live by and it's really sad.
I don't budget, but I live on about half of my take home pay. The rest is direct deposited into a money market account so it's like it's not even there. I started this about 2 yrs ago and it works great.
Brian this has nothing to do with money or finance, but I was driving home today and heard "Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys" I thought about you and how you used to talk about Willie and Waylon. It just made me smile. Have a great big beautiful today.
Luckenbach, Texas - Back to the Basics of Love. What a great tune and I did use to talk about Willie in Money Guy mashup show. Crosby Stills and Nash sending me a cease and desist letter brought it all to a screeching stop 😬
Gamifying finances was the best thing I did about three years ago. I race myself each year on how fast I can max out my Roth IRA. then I see how high I can get my savings percentage for the year (across all categories: retirement, home, vacation, car fund…)
25 minute mark: Bo said it backwards about how much to have in an emergency fund. He said you might want to have 3 months worth if you have a family, kids etc depending on you but might want to have 6 months worth if you’re alone.
I really like the idea of a networth review every January. Very motivating to see $$ accrue, and to have something to refer back to, and to stay on track. 👍👍
Good advice to anyone today, Don't simply retire from something; have something to retire to. Start saving, keep saving, and stick to investments. Everyone should have BTC in their portfolio....
Investing in many source of income that are independent of government paychecks is the prudent thing that everyone should be thinking about right now, especially given the global economic crisis.

Amazing content! I have been following your videos for sometime now, consistently kicking down Wall Street doors for two years now, I have over $700k in stocks. Currently, my portfolio is down by 15%. Wondering if they're any short term opportunities I can invest in.
Well, I'd suggest you discuss with a proper fiduciary, particularly if you're not familiar with the market trends or facing uncertainty. I personally have over 180 companies in my portfolio, so if few companies fail, I still have others that can hold me up.
It'll save you a whole lot of time and unnecessary losses off the market. I'm quite lucky exposed to self planning at an early age, worked full time when I was 19, purchased first home at 38. Going forward, got laid off at 52 amid covid-outbreak, and immediately consulted a fiduciary to stay afloat. She’s Katherine Ann McGrath, with an extensive experience in portfolio management. As of today, I'm only 10% short of my $1m goal as a result of her experience and strategies. She was recommended in one of the episodes and after due research, she was the woman for the job.
@ age 31 bucket allocations: 80% brokerage funds 8% Roth IRA 12% Pre-Tax Planned retirement age roughly 50 years old. In the initial retirement years I'd do roth conversions on the standard deduction at minimum, and maybe even the 10% as well.. then I'd just max out the 0% for LTGC
Thanks for featuring Katherine Ann McGrath in one of your episodes. I took your advice and contacted her for investment and budgeting opportunities. The results have been incredible. Started with slightly less than $40k, and now I’ve paid off my $250k loan in 6 months. Now totally debt free with 2 paid off rentals, having no debt for the last 12 months. My stock portfolio now is way over $850k. Thank you Katherine Ann McGrath!

What about victims of crime who forced to retire do to a horrible criminal actand injuries that was caused by that crime preventing that individual from working but responsible for the medical expenses and financial struggles? District Attorney Penny Douciere announces that a Richland Parish jury convicted James Tabb, age 33, of the attempted second degree murder of Joshua Butler at the conclusion of a two week trial on September 9th, 2022. ADA Doug Wheeler presented the State’s case, which established that Tabb shot the victim with a compound bow, stabbed, and then beat Butler’s head against a culvert at the victim’s residence on Hwy 425 south of Rayville on August 9, 2018. Tabb was also convicted of attempted Aggravated Burglary of the Butler’s home and attempted Armed Robbery. The verdict of the 12 person jury was unanimous on all counts. District Attorney Penny Douciere credited the success of the State’s prosecution on the hard work of the Richland Parish Sheriff’s Office, numerous other law enforcement agencies, and the Louisiana State Crime Lab.. District Judge Will Barham presided over the trial and has scheduled sentencing for November 2nd, 2022. Tabb, a Rayville resident , faces a possible sentence of up to 114 years.
Does paycheck to paycheck mean what I hold in my checking account? You aren't living paycheck to paycheck if you are saving money every month and have three month emergency fund right?
Looked it up, paycheck to paycheck doesn't mean what you have in a checking account. It means you spend nearly everything you earn before your next paycheck. So not saving nearly anything of your paycheck.
