Read his autobiography “I Wanna Be Yours”. Or, better still, listen to it on Audible. It is very very funny. This man is a natural comedian who uses proper words. And he is also an extremely nice person.
First introduction to this fella was his name written on the bog door at school in 1980 - I thought it was one of the pupils 😂 Fast forward 10 years and my boss lent me his book “10 years in an open necked shirt” (now as rare as gold plated rocking horse poo ) and he’s been making me wet myself laughing ever sine ! Yes I am, and re Mr Lydon, he never let go, or sold out, the Jungle was a prime example, he left knowing it was in the bag, Butter adverts, also a nose up at the establishment, I hold that man in high esteem. The last Pistols gig, San Francisco, "Do you evr get the impression you are being ripped off", just that look when he said it !!!!!!!!
