You hit the nail on the head with your summary: "Go out and do something better today, be better someway, be nice someway and do our part".
After reading comments on the original video (and some of his other videos too) there are many people who are calling Ren out as just a naive idealist or someone with no plan on how to actually fix things. But i think you got it exactly right...the solution does not lie on any single humans shoulders but equally on all of us. We all must look inwards ("hold the mirror at ourselves") and figure out how to be a little bit better to our fellow humans and our planet.
But if we start solely pointing fingers at others and expect them to fix this mess, we might as well give up. Real strength lies in numbers and everyone's small contributions can amount to big change.
I love that he gets people thinking, talking, and considering their role in their communities. It's so important, and at a time where we're pushed to be divided, he reminds us that we're stronger together.
This made my cry when it popped up after a 30 min treasure hunt.
A brilliant mind in a body gifted with the gab. Finding only truth in his messages is why people love this man so deeply. I'm immensely grateful that I clicked on his 'Hi Ren' video after ignoring it for months one night i march.

So glad you reacted to this. I love hearing your input. Ren just released it, but it was part of the money game played after the treasure hunt. When I first saw it, I was really left stunned, teary and needed time to digest it all. Ren is really next level.❤ oh and if there are cookies or ice cream in the house, I can’t stop myself. This is why the temptation is removed as I don’t eat that stuff in the house anymore. If I want something like that on occasion, I go out, get one small cone and eat it out. It keeps me from running off the rails lol😂
If there is cheese in the house, I tend to eat nothing else until it's gone. 🤣

This makes me so emotional Everytime! So thought provoking. I completely agree with Ren 💯, we can choose to be better to each other and to ourselves, I really wish we would. It makes me sad that so many of us will just ignore what was said here and just go on like we always have and not even try to do better, to be better and to spread love and positivity. I, for one, love you all!
Personally, I have little faith in humanity. I try so hard to, but I'm proven time and time again that its not worth it. Do I want humans to be better? Yes. Do I think its possible? The way things are now, no. But I can feel change is starting, and Ren is one of the magnificent human beings helping the change. I have little faith, but lots of hope.

I am a thinker. I think a lot!
However, I truly found myself, connected at a far, far deeper level when I taught my brain to stop thinking. I enjoy solitude most when I simply exist. It may sound weird today and that's ok, but I feel connections far further than my body or brain. It is there I find love.
I have health problems very similar to what Ren's been through and I went through periods of psychosis in which I was shown different ways of looking at things. At some point in my psychosis I was shown or realized that if they hadn't ate from the tree of knowledge, we wouldn't exist. It was because they did that they became mortal and were able to bare children. I remember having the thought that the snake tempting her wasn't evil... he was just curious to see what humans looked like in miniature form (babies). 😂.
Makes me wonder if this came from Ren's "psychosis" too.
I have some theories on psychosis that I'm still looking into.. whether it's our subconscious trying to make sense of things or if we tapped into something else. I need to talk to more people who have went through it. 🤔
Also to answer your question about what led the world to where it is now? The answer is trauma. Doctors ignored the effects to mental health & body health.. especially long term.. of trauma for years. They don't teach about trauma in med school which is ridiculous because we all learn about the fight or flight response which triggers our brains to secrete stress chemicals that amp up our senses and prepare us to flee or fight when our brains detect a threat. It will stay in that mode periodically secreting more stress chemicals if it detects we need more. It will do this until it gets the signal that you're safe triggering the nervous system to calm everything down and part of that process is restoring blood flow and oxygen to areas it had cut off before because all available resources go to keeping you alive during fight or flight. Now think about how they handled births for years. They took their time with handing the baby to the mother and in some cases kept them apart for days or weeks. Birth is traumatizing for baby and mother and not natural at all the way western medicine does things. Epidurals numb the mother which puts more stress on the baby cuz they have to fight more to come out, they induce labor way too much which forces the baby to come out whether they're ready or not and makes contractions harder so more stressful for babies, they do c section way too often and it's because of the things I already listed. And then they don't even put mother and baby together right away which is what signals the brain that they are safe again and the nervous system sends out signals and secretes chemicals to calm them both down. They have finally started to employ the skin to skin method in recent years probably because women were starting to go to alternative places for childbirth. So basically, we are all in different levels of trauma with different coping skills developed, and health issues no one is tracing back far enough to put it all together. Don't gete started on them not figuring out why black women have a higher chance of losing their babies than white women while I read a story about a woman in Africa that couldn't stop getting pregnant and there was some statistic saying women in Africa have more babies then anywhere else. Uh, let's see here.. I can't quite figure out what the difference could be. MAybe generational trauma being passed down cuz for hundreds of years we treated African Americans like shit and still do in many places and even the civil rights movement wasn't that long ago in the grand scheme of things. Then I hear how black women have to teach their sons to stay calm when they have dealings with police even if they are getting treated unjustly because it's better to tell it to a judge later than risk getting killed. It breaks my heart.

Edit: Speaking of Africa, I just had a news report show up in my feed saying a man in Congo started himself on fire to draw attention to the genocide happening there. It's horrific. I was hoping that Ren would do something like this. I just started going down the Ren Rabbit Hole of Discovery and my spidey-senses tingled when I first watched 'Hi Ren'. I have watched 'The Tales of Jenny and Screech - FULL', Chalk Outlines, and some others; including all of his interviews. I saw hints of his enlightenment. Happy to watch this. This hit hard after the game. I dipped in and out of the discord for the game(i think they are still up if you want to scroll through) , but didn’t play. It was fascinating to watch the hive mind think. People would toss out ideas for the clue, little groups would break off to to research it. Come back and report. People woukd read that and toss out ideas about what it meant. Little groups woukd explore and report back. That would go on for hours until they got the code for the day. And everyone could use the code for the daily prize. , you didn’t have to be active in the riddle solving. . And then I watched the final part and the live player burnt the suitcase full of money hoping the other suitcase had a bigger prize. But it had seashells. And then this came on

Men like being alone, but not by ourselves.
Ren always challenges us to think beyond our bubbles of existence. In that i have found hope. Something i had lost along the way .
I. Love. Being. Alone. I'm very introverted and introspective. I accept and enjoy the me I am when I'm alone. So, yeah I understand.
Humanity will only improve when we model compassion and kindness for our children to see and emulate. I have so much hope for humanity with this emerging group of young people. I've watched my son and his friends turn into wonderful young men who are ambitious and hard-working, but most importantly, they have a fire in their bellies to do better and get it right. And each of them kind and compassionate. I have hope in humanity because of them ❤

I don’t think being alone is necessarily a lonely thing. My girl and I are both very introverted. We love being together a lot but we also both need a lot of alone time to focus and recharge. I think that’s why we work so well, we have that understanding.
I love the fact that Ren gets us really thinking. He’s the type of guy I’d love to just sit down with and have a chat about anything and everything. I love the way he thinks and I have very similar views on the state of the world today.
We need more love in the world and a lot less hate.
How can you expect people to obey a rule forever without the ability to know why it exists?
Being alone sometimes and truly being alone are two very different things. One can enjoy some time alone, but for ever? That is torture.

I was a Buddhist first. I was a Marine second. I became an athiest, third. I saw first hand the greed of the military industrial complex; I have looked for the truth in what, 'We' have done in the guise of 'freedom' and 'Democracy.' It left me shattered and disillusioned. Objective truth is hard accept when you've lived a whole life in subjective reality. However, in my despair, deep in the void, I see the faintest glimmers of hope, of humanity when I hear Rens lyrics. I would like to agree with Ren when he noted at the end, "I'm an agnostic, who believes; I believe in Us."
Money has to be taken out of the equation for progress to happen.

I found God about 12 years ago and I agree with a lot of what he's saying but we are sentenced to death. We die in this lifetime and then we can be with Him. But you can choose one or the other. I was all about sin earlier in life but after I found proof of Him here I said the sinners prayer and I still have Him in my life today. Don't know why I didn't soonee cuz my life did a 180

Here is something most people get wrong, including Ren, the word "Lucifer" is not another name for Satan. In the bible the word Lucifer is mentioned only once in the book of Isaiah. Which reads "How you have fallen from heaven,
O shining one, son of the dawn!
How you have been cut down to the earth,
You who vanquished nations!
At the time of Isaiah writing this The city of Babylon was the world power and the above words was a warning to this city who "raised its self up to the heavens" making itself a "shinning one" or "morning star" (Lucifer) so God gave the city of Babylon a warning for been such a cruel nation.
One other point is this, Satan has NEVER challenged God's power. He knows to well God will wipe the floor with Satan.
I'm not a believer, but my understanding of this story, with the reasoning for God to place the tree in Eden, is that God gives opportunities for us to be bad, and Lucifer gives opportunities for us to choose good. If you are strong in your faith and on the path of God, he doesn't deliver you from temptation, but tests your faith. And if you are on a bad path, Lucifer provides a crossroads whereby you can commit to the bad or choose to be better. I like to interpret that God isn't all good, and Lucifer isn't all bad. God has committed sins - wrath above all else but arguably envy and pride are displayed by him. And Lucifer punishes those that are bad. It's clear that the roles of God and Lucifer aren't as clear cut as one being good and one being bad, and I think both are there to serve as viable sources of lessons in life. Ultimately the good in life is not because of God, nor is the bad in life the work of the devil. As Ren says in this video, these are our choices, our consequences. If it was the work of God and Lucifer, it wouldn't be us getting judged on judgment day. I feel blind faith in worshipping God and rejecting Lucifer is as destructive as committing the seven sins. But this is just my take - I'd love to know what believers think of Lucifer and God, their roles. Is there sympathy for the devil? Is it OK to chalk up the deaths of innocents, the losses in disasters, to being part of God's plan and not to lose faith? It's baffled humanity for millenia. Nevertheless, we're at a point now where we can do better for each other as a species, believers and non-believers alike.
I'm spiritual -- love Jesus, despise legalistic, controlling religion. The spiritual realm is very real, more than what we see with our natural eyes. In Ephesians it says we deal not with flesh and blood, but with rulers/principalities/dark forces of the world. So unlike Ren, I do think a lot of whats corrupt here has to do with demonic forces who carry out their evil schemes through people they've possessed/oppressed all in an attempt to hurt the thing God loves most--His children. The thief/enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ gives life and life abundantly. I've personally experienced too much of the supernatural side of God (dreams, literally miracles, prophecies fulfilled) to think anything different.
The tree hàd to be there for God to give adam and eve free will. Without a choice, there is no free will. ❤
