    And this is another case of legal hack rom.

    hey, thanks for doing this for everyone who wishes to see the difference between these, i think its very cool that you took the time to do this.

      shawnphase No problem :) I'm glad you enjoyed it. After this video was done, I actually did a full translation patch on the rom that was all nice and polished (I even redid the title screen in English!). Problem is, I accidentally erased it before I ever uploaded it anywhere, so.... this is all that's left of my work on the game. D;

    I still prefer the japanese version because when I was a kid, I had the famicom cartridge, a gift of my grandmother and grandfather. I don't care who dark and bizarre no Capcom-Disney is this game, I love it.
    Sorry my english.

    It's the same game, with different story lines, and characters!

    I think i will play both games, Mickey Mouse 3, then Kid Clown, both of their stories seem interesting to me.
    I wish Japanese would do the same with Western games, like they did with Pandemonium. I love to see how one game turns into a whole new game with a whole new story.

      There are more cases like Trolls in Crazy World (Originally Doki Doki Yuenchi) and Snoopy (Originally Donald Duck).

    Kid Klown vs. Mickey Mouse III?
    That's a comparison of KEMCO playthrough!

  • @hanchiman

    I am more surprised why they changed Mickey Mouse in the International Release. Licensing?

    • @NintendoComplete
      @NintendoComplete  7 років тому +6

      +Hanferd That's exactly the reason. Kemco only had license for use of Disney stuff in Japan

      NintendoComplete well.. fair enough. Capcom does better.

    Haha unfortunately, it doesn't really make the game harder, it just takes longer to slog through. Kinda like the Gameboy Kirby's extra game code :/

  • @Dystnine
    @Dystnine 9 років тому +4

    So, they both enter dreams? Kind of reminds me of some game where the character entered people's dreams.

    • @NintendoComplete

      Akira Tadokoro Hahaha, there are quite a few of those... do you remember any more? Off the top of my head I can think of at least half a dozen :) Maybe I can help

      Alundra. It was a PS1 game. Basically Sony's version of Zelda. It had an elf that could enter dreams.

    Wait a minute, Kid Klown? I know it’s the North American version of its Japanese counterpart, but does that Kid Klown have anything to do with the notorious Kid Klown In Crazy Chase on the SNES?

    The most interesting thing about Mickey being changed to Kid Klown is how Kid retained this particular Mickey's movements and silhouette(s) even in Krazy Chase.

    Why is it mickey mouse 3 what happened to number 2

    • @WonderfulSenkiZesshou
      @WonderfulSenkiZesshou Рік тому +1

      Mickey Mouse 2 Was Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle 2 In Japanese And Hugo Was Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle 2 In European
      Also According To Disney Wiki: Due to Capcom holding the rights to make Disney video games on Nintendo systems in the U.S. at the time, when the game was to be released in the U.S., Kemco changed the game to feature new characters and renamed it Kid Klown in Night Mayor World.

    • @NintendoComplete

      +The Toontastic Toon The Mickey game came first, but Kemco didn't have the rights in the US to release a game with the character. They switched it so they could legally give it a us release
