As a lifelong engineer (now retired) its a joy to see the skills on show here, wonderful to watch. I am glad to see your talented apprentice, its near impossible to find young people willing to learn these skills these days.
We will continue to do our best to ensure that young people will continue to inherit traditional culture.
To be fair, a lot of us have chronic illnesses that weren't as common decades ago. Many of them are genetic, so while they have existed for generations, the effect becomes worse every time it's passed on. Personally, I would love to learn a trade or skill, but my hands can't even hold a book open anymore.
@@medancey-k1n Understood, and sadly also the reason for my retirement, my hands struggle to peel an apple these days 🙂. Even so, I continue to tinker and build radios.... it just takes a bit longer.

注ぎ口の繋ぎ目はロウ付けとハンダも使ってますが割合的にロウがほとんどで
そのほかの接着はほぼハンダ付けに見えましたが

The copper is also poisonous. The negligible amount of lead does not make much difference.
Copper is not poisonous. Copper pans, pipes. There is no longer lead in the soldering rod. It's silver based.
Each tap, snip, buff is measured.
Japan is amazing...tye people can make ANYTHING....except chairs.

As much as I appreciate skill, I think some folks attach WAY TOO MUCH IMPORTANCE to their products. It's a teapot. Not a nuclear reactor.
A question that I have is? When developing your skills do you perform destructive tests on practice joins to show how strong each type of join is?

年輕女生焊接銅嘴合縫的技術很糟糕~助焊劑全被吹走了完全沒作用!正確的做法是用焊條沾助焊劑去點加溫後的接縫處
