I think Capricorns are very sweet and kind people once you get to know them. On the outside they seem cold and distant, but they are just very defensive, because they don't like people to know how sensitive they are.

I think one of the reasons why Capricorns are misunderstood as being boring is because they are not necessarily an outwardly expressive zodiac sign.

I'm a Capricorn and so is my mom and this is the best description of a real Capricorn that I have heard yet! We are not boring at all. I myself love to travel and go out to spots club, lounge or restaurant but we need good service because that is our expectation for ourselves. We love the arts and I personally love music plus I can dance my ass off. Often I would dance when I bring a lady to my house and I would normally have to drag them into my comfort zone. We strive to make the lives better of those who we let into our lives and we are some of the most loyal friends you could find. If you were to get into any drama big or small we would be right there to hold you down while some other signs might run or make excuses why they couldn't help. We are providers and protectors of those we love. We also need deep conversations on any topic because we need the mental stimulation to keep things interesting. Yes we can be cold at times but to me that is normally misunderstood because so many people just like to talk just for the hell of talking while we are thinking about our next power move and talk with a purpose. If we are into you it's hard to say we are cold. We won't call you 5 or 6 times a day but if you are mentally sharp as us we can have two deep conversations that will last hours at times and even when we hang up the thugs we said may leave a strong impression on you! If we are into you we are some of the most romantic signs you will ever come across. I myself have blessed ladies with roses pedals in the bath tub and had them walking on roses pedals leading to the bedroom like my favorite movie coming to America. We are adventurous in the bedroom and normally we are down for whatever, that is with the one we are into or with wife, girlfriend or someone we are really pursuing. We are also very funny, light hearted and are able to laugh at ourselves at times. We also can switch up it in a minute and be dead serious when need be just think of Muhammad Ali talking crap at his weight in's to all his opponents everybody would think this guy is a joker but when they met him in the ring they quickly found out the joke was on them when he knocked they're asses out! Al Capone is another Capricorn who like all of us demand respect from our peers, coworkers and even our enemies. If we do a crime it will normally be so smooth that you will never know because we learn from experience and repetition. We are a sign that is meant to shine in the best clothes, cars, watches etc and if you are a lady walking with a Capricorn man you couldn't walk next to him if your not appealing. Why you ask, simple we have a reputation to uphold nothing personal and I'm sure Capricorn ladies think just the same. These are some of our traits that few talk about. We are known for working hard and being materialistic which is true for me at least I blame my mom for that lol but we are so much deeper than what we get credit for! I know, I cried so much after watching this. I'm so misunderstood by family, friends except for my children they love me. I don't know what would I do if I didn't have my children. People hate me for no reason when I'm so nice.

I love and respect human life. It is to be valued. Due , to all of the misjudgment thrown at me, I could never be open about who I am. The real me is locked in. I needed to see this comment, I’m a Capricorn and the amount of videos I’ve seen about the zodiac signs and when they get to Capricorn they talk about how much they don’t like us. I’m very shy when I first meet someone but once I’m comfortable around that person I’m literally so loud and I won’t shut up. I’m not money hungry, I’m just hard working, I like to get things done, please ppl and support ppl I love financially. I try to hold my emotions in and when I finally let it all out I explode, I’m very loyal when it comes to friends and relationships but I always somehow end up getting hurt lol

It's only because I want people to think I'm strong, even though I know I'm soft on the inside. I normally hide my feelings and emotions to myself, and my parents always tell me it's not healthy...but I only do it because I don't want people to worry, because I sometimes feel as if I'm a waste of time.
i am a capricorn man who always in a position to help some one. even strangers.... while returning from a trip from usa to nederland a family from africa could not get on the plane because they had too much bags of weight ,,,so the could not pay for it,,, they were begging and crying because the bording gate had only 5 mins to close ,,,i was the last person in the line while the africa family was out of the line running all over the place for help....every body around refused to help.....i left my suit case and run fast as possible to get the women husband ....i say come brother i will pay for you and your wife...the tax was 140 dollars the were the happest family that i every see,,,,, the wanted me to vist them in africa ...,,,,
A elderly lady gotdown from the moving train, with some of her bagage. her husband could not get down because the train had started to move quickly. I asked her what she needs and anything I can do and where she want to Go. She told she is goingo to the next station .I gave her some money and she asked how she will repay. I told that's ok , please take the money and you will need as she did not have any money in had. She was happy and took the money . I was also Feeling better ..

You really shed some light on Capricorns. Thanks for your sweet outlook and words. As a Cappy myself I feel I'm often misunderstood, and many other Cappys probably feel the same way. Yeh I'm private and a bit reserved at first, often seen as aloof, but those that take time to really know me realize I'm kind, adventurous, a silly kook (ie not boring) supportive, and loyal as heck, and I'll take secrets and confidences to the grave. The downside to us is yes we can become very dark and depressed at times, because we tend to be hard on ourselves, and more sensitive than the world sees. My joke is..."any hate or insult ya wanna throw at me, don't bother, I already said all that and then some to MYSELF earlier today, I got it covered". Capricorns are not afraid to walk alone. We work hard to walk our own path, and follow our own Truths... Not many people have the strength and courage to walk alone. Capricorns dont want to be understood. Thats true boredom.
Instead, we focus on being true to ourselves, not bothered by what others think or do. With lazer focus , we are determined to live our best lives, whether we are alone or with others. Capricorns are steadfast in everything they do. Capricorns dont do anything halfway, they are determined as hell.
It is true that Capricorns have trouble opening up emotionally. Thats prob. why I am single...The truth is we feel so deeply emotionally- We feel what others feel. Hello. I am a typical Capricorn. I agree completely with everything you said. Family is even more important for me that career, to help other people is a pleasure and it makes me very happy, if I can do that. Learning a new things all the time is my thing! Just finished my second college in my 40ties. I can speak five languages and want to learn more, because it's so exciting. I left my old job, because there was no development for me and I took new one just to be able to learn a new things, I didn't even asked how much they are going to pay me, because it's a secondary thing for me.

Haha. I think people see me as boring cos I prefer a night at home than to a bar. Little do they know that I spend it studying, understanding how the world of politics, science, philosophies and so much more works. I am forever looking at life from different perpectives. I travel a lot, broadens my horizons. This enables me to be of great support to people around me. I don't bother explaining myself to those who don't really know me cos I let it up to everyone to make their own mind on things. We are independant for sure, and quite reserved ( at least at first) and we focus on things that matter ( the petty stuff puts to sleep) but boring nah I never met a boring capricorn. If you do it s prolly because there are some things about themselves they're not sharing yet. I unfold sloooowly lol. I have to see if you will even care before. This is finally the most correct description of a Capricorn I have ever heard. I started to get teary eyed. As I Capricorn I have felt so misunderstood throughout my life. I know I have pushed people away or can come off standoff-ish. But it’s never when I meet someone for the first time. That is usually earned by the individual who continues to harass or put me down. Love and romance are my gifts to share with the ones I love and can show my vulnerability to. So many of the signs push you down when you feel down. And as Capis we feel down often (that darn Saturn) I’ve had such a difficult relationship with my mom and former boyfriends because they kick me when I’m down. 1. Yes I agree we are surprising. Capricorn has many variations to our personality. We shou or moods or variations of pur personality based off the environment and eneegy around us.
2. Yes, We are very caring and protecting of the people we love and care about. People who are close to us are very important to us. If you are close to us you automatically get that protection from us.
3. Yes, every capricorn I know (including me) have high standards ...I'm not sure if this is a pro because not many people feel like they can exeed or reach our high standards. It's also very hard for us to lower our standards or settle. But we're good liars so we may be able to fake it but not for long.
4. We are fun once you get to know us. We have dad like humor. Sometimes sarcastic. Capricorn jokes are usually sexual. Most caps jokes is borderline truth so pay attention.
Capricorns always have a lot of knowledge they can teach you a lot if you're interested.
5. We are only romantic for the people we TRULY love. Not everyone gets to see our romantic side. A capricorn in love will surprise you with alot of detail... they will schedule the event, pick out the outfit, have a theme, make sure all your favorites is incorporated in the surprise. I gave them spiritual advice, my time, my skills, gifts, emotional support, honesty, and vulnerability, and they took it all for granted. It hurts me everyday thinking about this person, but I had to let them go because I felt miserable at how they were treating me. I am at a point in my life where romantic love is more important that my career goals, but finding this kind of love is not easy nowadays. I will remain optimistic and pray that god brings someone into my life that truly understands what it is I'm offering and can reciprocate in kind.

Omg thank you! People think I am creepy and emo because I don't talk much. But the truth is that I would love to be friends with a lot of people but I have no idea what to talk about with them. And to the ones that talk shit about me, they don't know me at all. I'm very observant and I realized that people only judge by the way people are, how they look, what they do, etc. In public I am nothing compared to what I'm like as a friend and everyday person. In public I am very quiet and I don't talk much. I do not like to talk to people unless they approach me. The only reason why is because I do not feel comfortable about talking to somebody I don't know anything of. As a friend I care deeply about how my best buds feel. I also take time out of my schedule just to be there for someone. Of course if I don't like you I won't talk to you but at least I'm not rude about it, shouting off of the rooftops about how much I hate you. And if you don't get the hint I'll talk to you about it but I'll try not to hurt your feelings. I don't like it how a lot of people criticize others and I wish we could all be on a better understanding but I know that can't happen because that's just human nature. But for the people that don't, I thank them for being so understanding.
