Doomsday is one of the strongest Superman villains. Superman actually needs not only to go all out strength-wise but also use all of his smarts and skill to stop him. And even then it's just a temporary solution. There is just not a single dragon ball character that would stop him. It's just not gonna happen.

One of the best moments in the Superman/Doomsday fight is when Superman realizes he can't force Doomsday out of the city so they just start hitting each other as hard as they can, city be damned.

Goku's definitely way faster, more skilled and smarter than Doomsday. And it would be extremely difficult for Doomsday to even land a hit on Goku in the beginning. But that's about it. Doomsday's insane durability, invulnerability, healing factor, brute strength and immortality would make him the winner.
Goku would eventually tire out, which would open the opportunity for Doomsday to land lethal shots at Goku. I'm pretty sure Goku would have a second wind, power up for a bit and ragdoll Doomsday. But that's not gonna kill him and Goku would eventually tire out again trying to speed blitz and kill Doomsday. Doomsday would get him eventually when Goku gets extremely exhausted.

Honestly, Goku really needs to strategize to take down Doomsday. Doomsday is one of those huge, insanely powerful villains who even killed Superman. So, Goku definitely has to stay on his toes if he's facing someone like Doomsday. I do think he can beat Doomsday, but it's not a guaranteed win. I can imagine a few scenarios where they both take each other out. Physically, though, one solid punch from Doomsday would make Goku rethink his approach. Ultra Instinct would give him a speed advantage, allowing him to dodge attacks without thinking. Now, with True Ultra Instinct, which is way stronger than Mastered Ultra Instinct, Goku is at his best. There's a rumor that he might eventually combine Super Saiyan or Kaioken with Ultra Instinct. True Ultra Instinct is basically his base form with the Ultra Instinct aura, and he can be angry instead of calm to activate it. This anger gives him an edge because rage makes a Super Saiyan stronger. So, True Ultra Instinct is Goku at his peak. Even with True Ultra Instinct, I can still see Doomsday giving Goku a hard time. Doomsday is just a beast, no doubt about it. It's like the whole Superman vs. Goku debate. Yes, Goku can beat Superman in some scenarios, but Superman could also easily defeat Goku in others. There are two sides to every coin, and I like to consider how each character could win against the other. I can see a few scenarios where they both hand each other a loss. The idea that Goku doesn't even have to think and can just beat Doomsday right away is a complete lie. A few good punches from Doomsday would force Goku to rethink his strategy if he wants to win.
It's also like, Goku is also not anywhere near the strongest being in any universe that Goku exists in, or version of Goku's universe. There's Xeno-Goku, there is AF-Goku, which is arguably one of the strongest Gokus even though he's just a fan character that Toyotaro created, with a silver-looking Super Saiyan 5 which looks awesome to the point where there's actual action figures of Super Saiyan 5 AF-Goku created. And now there's a rumor going around that AF-Goku might be a thing one day in the canon timeline, which I doubt, but hey, the rumor is cool.
There's other versions of Goku that I would use than just the mainline Goku because those versions would be better suited for a doomsday fight than the mainline Goku.
There's also other beings in the Dragon Ball universe that is a better fighter, a lot smarter than Goku, and a lot better suited for a fight with Doomsday than Goku ever would be. Like Zeno, or Beerus, or maybe even Whis.
Although, if you want to stick with the Super Saiyan race, I'd probably go with Broly. I'd say as far as physical strength and how hard someone could punch, Broly I would say would be an even better pick than Goku.
Or if you wanted to add fusions, I would say Gogeta. I know Gogeta is basically Vegeta and Goku fused together, but as far as individual characters if we were to just make Goku Separate from Gogeta and Gogeta is his own thing. I would say Gogeta is even a better fight for Doomsday than Goku is 😂😂

So what can doomsday do? I don’t know all the versions of him, can he blow up planets with a single punch? Or is it that he’s tanked hits from Superman 1 million? If it’s doomsday from any of the tv series he’s not beating Goku, if you got a comic where he destroys a galaxy with a punch, or a universe now where talking, I get that just the though of him can bring him back, but if he’s a type of pure evil then he’s gonna get hurt by spirt bomb. I just realized based on how strong saitama is in franchise, saitama can 10 shot hulk and broly and the unknown characters who were fighting goku. Basically if he punches those guys enough and they dont recover or "get angry" fast enough saitama can 1 shot or should i say 1 punch them in maybe less then 10 shots Their is no way goku can beat saitama or doomsday.

My low is brutal with canon. I ain't trying to hear their highs (they'll just get REMINDED every time). Unlike Gokeks, I don't care about my verse measuring up to others. That means nothing to me.
