My aprilla sr 50 flys up hills at like 40-45mph and hardly drops speed, I try my best not to rag it but on the B road where I live it’s just too good. Lol
Hi Mark I've got a problem I have the same lc Speedfight 2 in your video and was wondering what main jet I should be using the carb is a 12mm gurtner the bike is all standard apart from the exhaust that's a giannlli with the restricter removed I think I after up jet bye 10% or 15% so would a 60 main jet be correct as I've been told I need a 76 main jet but that seems a little big for a 50cc

How can i install a side stand on my Peugeot Trekker 50 2006 it should be very similar to the speedflights 1 and 2 but when I installed a speedflight side stand on it it just proved too long and unusable i am a man of 70 with weak leg muscles and mobility problems and i am just not physically strong enough to use the centre stand so I need your help with this one.
Hey Mark. I have Speedfight 2 with swapped 70cc bore kit and sport LeoVince exaust. Maybe you can give me some advices what could I do more to get everything from that 70cc? Like rollers, clutch, etc.
Bud after watching my video 70cc kits don't do it !! Higher heat plug 19mm or 21mm carb Upjet , and tune like in my videos Race air filter Tune and tune again 7g rollers as more power Stage 6 clutch and exhaust Its a lot of work
@@marksavage Well with that 70cc swap, sport exaust, 70 main jet change and those water drop style 8g roller weight change my speedfight is doing about 55mph. But now I'm on a tight budget so I might only change rollers to even lighter ones and put diffrent spark plug. Maybe you could recommend what higher heat spark plug should I put because I have no idea?
makes a change them front panel mounts are not broken and what was that in the end 8 bolts holding all the panels on ? thats 6 more then was holding all the panels on my bike when i picked it up the rest was missing and had small drill holes with cable ties in place of them :/
Hi mark sorry to bother you but I've got a problem with my speedy I've been watching your youtube videos and I love them by the way but my problem is that I've changed the standard rolls to the 6g rolls like in one of your videos but I'm finding it starts better but when I go down the street and come to a junction and stop it's revs high I've checked the Rev cable that seams to be fine I checked it by having the scooter turned off and opened the throttle fully and let go and you can hear it hit the bottom so are the rolls to light for my 50cc or could it be the lighter clutch bell that's been put on ? Normally the revs are nothing to do with the variator Carb bud Check the needle is going all the way down and the idea it out like in my carb cleaning videos If its out and the slide is going all the way down you can adjust the needle as it has 3 setting Did it rev high before you changed the rollers? As said it should have anything to do with the revs/ tick over What is the belt like ?

I did strip the carb and cleaned it after watching your carb cleaning video I've also replaced the throttle cable but I'll take it back off and give it another good clean with carb cleaner not washing up liquid lol that was funny do people really us washing up liquid to clean there carbs ?
Thanks bud As for the 100cc theres not many around or left on the road , parts are very hard to get Most 17 years old went onto 125cc etc I've had a few and always found them hard to sell on !!, so i don't play with them However they do go well but once over 60 mph the ped seems u stable to be honest I done one up and hit 70mph and thought I was going to die on a bend pmsl !! If you can get one that starts and runs then have a go bud

Hi Mark, looking for some help please mate, I have managed to get my speedfight 2 100cc 2000 plate back up and running recently smoothly, but I have an issue where it is using up alot of fuel. Far too much. Could you tell me where I am best to start looking? Is it likely a leak that I am missing?

@@marksavage Hi Mark , I haven't been far on it, carb sounds ok , the bike was dieing at full throttle , I have cleaned the carb out and now and it pulls away well. The bike was dieing after left idling for ten mins , so after the autochoke went off, I have tuned it to the best of my ability 😁 I have had it up around 50mph. I will strip everything off to see if I am missing a leak. Hopefully not the piston 😦
Can you help me out please. I have a Speedfight 2 50 LC, when riding about, its great, but if I sit idling, like at traffic lights, when I pull away its just sputters and won't rev up. The suddenly goes. Any ideas?
@@marksavage cleaned out the carb, standard jet, standard air filter, only just been put back on the road, bought as a non runner. Only had a sports exhaust on it.
id change the whole piston bud to be honest not just the ring but its up to you, its an easy job on AC otherwise you do have the water to contend with on refit theres 70 speedfight videos on my channel and a lot of them cover this and will help like putting 2t oil around the head and piston so it goes in easier and on start up doesn't score!!

Someone has found a bolt that's lighter than titanium! And this speedy is full of them. 😁 No bad problems so far. Just loads of things that should of been sorted as they came up.

It's typical of these bikes, the owners simply do not care for them, ride them into the ground and buy another one in 5 years. Especially if the owner was under 25. Although it does seem the girl that did own it at least did some maintenance. 😀👍
@@digga7585 so chucked away the washer , cleaned variator , 6g rollers , checked belt and clutch like in my videos small upjet to 60, take off link pipe ,sports air filter, , sports exhaust , then tune like in my tuning video this will all help too bud
I put a new leo vince tt exhaust on earlier and took off the link pipe and it would rev up and then just loose all power and if I kept throttle it would die what could this be (I haven't upjetted either

My seat release works with the panel off but jams when I put the panel back on, it’s probably something simple but for the life of me I can’t work it out… Any thought anyone?
@@marksavagefound the problem! The bit at the latch end was sliding back and jamming it, so I popped a cable tie on it to stop it slipping and now it’s perfect! Thanks so much for the advice!

60 is a Good size and should run well bud with a sports exhaust

As in head stock bearing or front wheel bearing?
Its not wheel bearing or head stock its where the main bolt goes throu the front swing arm
Can't find what they are called or if its even serviceable if not where could I locate a whole new fork 🙄

My speedfight ac does 42mph its got a sports exhaust and 3x6g and 3x4.7g rollers is there any way to to make it faster
for a AC that about normal 42 to 45, what else have you done to it, and i'd use 6g x 6
That's all I've done, my variator has a screw on plate should I just keep that off

Retrace the cable bud
Make sure the lock is the right way in and turning ok
And fixed in the slot for the cable !
