Once your nails get to a certain length you start using your knuckles. I dont have nails like that but they are considered long to the average person. The only thing I actually have trouble with is tucking sheets on my bed and typing. I honestly being a long natural nail person dont know how they type with those nails, especially if your keyboard is missing the buttons and now you have to push and little button that's in a hole.
